(I'm not sure if I like how this sign-up turned out, but I'll let you decide if it's any good or not. This is my first time using these kind of characters as well so I don't know if I'll be able to work well with their personalities right away. Also again, this is my very first Digimon RP so I might need advice at some points).
Name: Alexander "Alex" Wesker
Nationality: Born in America. Raised in Japan.
Appearance: Alex is a bit shorter than the average 15 year old, standing at about five feet, four inches. He has pale skin and brown shoulder length hair. He is heterochromic, with his right eye being blue and his left eye being green, though he can see perfectly fine out of both. He always gives an arrogant or uncaring laid back look unless he's genuinely worried or angry, which rarely happens. He's has a slim build, but is still perfectly fit. He's inherited his father's American facial features.
For clothes, his casual wear is a black t-shirt with Japanese characters that read "Fuma" on the front, and black jeans. He also wears a black jacket with a fur hood, but he only puts the hood on when the weather becomes unbearably cold for him. He also wears black shoes with white socks. His only accessory is a locket around his neck which contains a photo of him and his younger sister, which he only allows a very select few to see. On his person he typically carries around a deck of cards and a switchblade, while he's skillful with the switchblade he only uses it in self defense.
When Alex wears his DSA uniform he wears it to standard, but he still wears his locket under the tie. The one alteration is that the jacket is mostly black with a fox head stitched on the back. He also wears a long black scarf around his neck while wearing the uniform.
Personality: Alex is a wildcard individual. He mostly keeps to himself and almost never discloses what's on his mind until he feels the time is right, so it's difficult to tell what he'll say or do next. He's clever in his words and mannerisms and tends to be a smooth talker. He gives off the sense that he's always hiding something.
When talking to others, depending on who he interacts with Alex opts to sound calculating and sophisticated at some times, and straight up insulting in others. He let's others know whether he respects or dislikes them and acts very differently towards either side. Around people he respects he simply expresses his respect for that person and gives advice to them when asked. Towards people he doesn't like he notes his disdain towards them with condescending remarks. However, he keeps said remarks at bay while on the job to avoid needless bickering with his allies.
Alex tends to be laid back in most situations. Even during times where he's in danger he takes it with a smile and even a laugh when he's either unimpressed or things start going his way. Though he's intelligent he gets bored very easily. If you try to tell him something he's not interested in or something he already knows, he'll quickly fall asleep. If he hears something that peaks his interest, he'll listen intently.
The only person Alex openly cares about is his little sister, Alice. When she's around Alex acts like a different person entirely, being a considerate, protective and caring brother. It's only during situations that pertain to Alice is when Alex truly shows any kind of emotion. This is because deep down this is the kind of person Alex really is, he just doesn't know how to act this way towards others so he puts on a wildcard persona as a front. In reality, he hopes to be more open towards others someday.
Biography/History: Alex was born in America, his father was American while his mother was Japanese. For the first few years of his life his mother helped him learn Japanese as well as English. When he was seven his sister, Alice, was born, however his father died in an accident shortly afterwards. Dealing with grief, Alex's mother decided to move back to Japan and took the two siblings with her.
Having lived in America most of his life, Alex had a hard time adapting to living in a new country. Though he knew Japanese, interacting with all these new people was difficult for him. To make matters worse, Alex's mother became increasingly busy in her effort to support both Alex and Alice by herself. The only person Alex ever had regular interactions with was his sister. As he grew up Alex slowly became more reserved towards others until he began to act like a different person entirely to hide his insecurities.
By the time he got into high school Alex had excelled in multiple subjects and was known to be one of the smartest students in his school. He was particularly known to fall asleep in class a lot yet still somehow stay at the top of his classes. In his boredom he often passed the time by beating other students in various games. Whether in strategy based board games or cards, very few provided Alex with much challenge. However, after one such session Alex noticed someone was following him on his way home. He ignored them until the next day, where he noticed them again and went into an isolated area.
Alex called out to whoever was following him several times until his stalker finally revealed herself as a fox-like creature called Renamon. Intrigued by her, Alex exchanged words with Renamon for a time until he decided to let her follow him home under the condition that she doesn't show herself to Alice and his mother. Sometime after this meeting, Alex was offered a job with the DSA.
Digisoul color: Purple
Additional information: Alex is fluent in both English and Japanese. He can also play the piano.
Digimon partner: Renamon
Digivolution line: Viximon > Renamon > Kyubimon > Taomon > Sakuyamon
Personality: Renamon is the typical strong silent type. She tends not to speak unless it's of something she deems important. She's also not seen around Alex very often, instead opting to watch over him from a distance until he's in some kind of danger or he signals her over. When speaking with others she takes a 'no nonsense' approach and has little tolerance for jokes.
Biography/History: Renamon's been a fighter for as long as she can remember. She has won many battles with other Digimon through a combination of strength and cunning. However, one day she underestimated an opponent and was nearly defeated, forcing her to flee. With her opponent in hot pursuit, Renamon came across a portal and with no other alternative, jumped through it.
Having found herself in the human world she stayed out of sight from most humans until she noticed one in particular that appeared to stand out from the rest. Seeing the boy's unusual behavior towards others, she became curious and began following him. This carried on to the next day when the boy ended up taking a different route from the one he took yesterday and suddenly called out to her in an isolated area. Surprised that this boy, Alex, had noticed her following him, she thought for a moment and decided to reveal herself to him. To her surprise once again, instead of being shocked like she anticipated, Alex reacted to her appearance in a calmly manner. Renamon spoke with him for a time before he decided to allow her to come home with him as long as she does not reveal herself to his family.
