Either way, I'll be waiting for the reactions. Hopefully, they'll be positive.
That being said, I am being optimistic, if only because it would be an incredibly stupid thing for Nintendo to do at this stage in development. Turning around and declaring one of the most demanded characters to be a mere piece of the background, especially only a couple of months after the game was formally announced (meaning fans aren't very invested in the game and so are more likely to be put off) would be a major hype killer. If it was in August 2014, I'd be more on edge, but as it is now, I'm kind of putting faith in Nintendo to not be complete morons.
