Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy is freaking amazing, Douglas Adams was a genius.

A Song of Ice and Fire for sure, as well as Harry Potter. I'm reading The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy right now, and I'm really enjoying it.

Game of Thrones (or as most people are calling it, A Song of Ice and Fire.)
Hannibal Lecter Series (Does this book series even HAVE a name? We just don't know.)
    Sherlock Holmes Series
    Percy Jackson
Guardians of Ga'Hoole (Although it's been AGES since I read these last.)
Lord of The Rings (My personal favourite is The Hobbit, however.)

Apart from obvious ones like Harry Potter, I quite like The Saga of Darren Shan. I know it doesnt sound too interesting but its a great series about an ongoing feud between Vampires and their brothers the Vampaneze.

I don't really read series anymore.

I used to like Harry Potter, Goosebumps, The Hunger Games was good asides from Katniss being annoyingly indecisive all the time. Stuff like that.

I see alot of Hunger Games fans, lol.

I can't say that I've read the LOTR series, even though I have ever book. Fellowship is to.....boring, lol.

Also, Series of Unfortunate Events is good. Need to get more.

That was just one book. Harper Lee never wrote anything else.

As for me, besides the Harry Potter and Hunger Games series (although the later Hunger Games books didn't meet my expectations), I've read through the Chronicles of Narnia, as well as collections of works by Flannery O'Connor and Anton Chekhov, as well as Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson. I'm not sure if those count as "series," though.

I might read through all ten plays of August Wilson's Century/Pittsburgh Cycle soon.

Lord of the Rings will forever remain one of my favorite book series. I started reading it when i was 6 years old and occasionally go back and re-read the books to gain a better understanding of them. A song of ice and fire are much more lengthy and contains much more adult subject matter but is good as well. One of the more challenging fantasy series i've read over the years was the Wheel of Time series which seems to go on forever. I'm hoping that George R.R. Martin doesn't kick the bucket like Robert Jordan before the books are finished.

The lack of Percy Jackson disturbs me...

Percy Jackson and the Olympians, too bad the movie is bull sh*t. Sea of Monsters looks promising though

And it's follow up series, the Heroes of Olympus.

But all the people ragging on my favorite character, Piper, and saying Jason must apologize for breaking Reyna's heart annoys me to Hades and back!

For gods' sake! The two weren't dating, Reyna has some sort of stalker crush! What should he say?!

"Oops, sorry Reyna, found a girl who I actually love, she loves me back."

My favourite book series would be Percy Jackson because I'm into all Greek mythology as I find it really interesting and because it was the first series I actual finished and the Diary of a wimpy kid book series as those books make me laugh ever time I read them and the films are really good to

I'd have to say my top five favorite book series are:

    5) Lord of the Rings: Been a HUGE fan since I was a kid, and I still need to finish Return of the King the whole way

    4) The Mortal Instruments: Only just finished the first book and slowly working on the second, but they're still good.

    3) Hunger Games: Mockingjay was a little slow for my tastes at the beginning.

    2) Harry Potter: grew up on these. XD Love the series

    1) Percy Jackson and the Olympians: I'm a HUGE HUGE HUGE nerd when it comes to Greek Mythology, and anything to do with it, cartoons, games, books, movies, whatever, I'll be there to see it, and this book series was amazing! (I'm excited for Sea of Monsters to come out on Wednesday.)

    Finally some PJO love!

I absolutely love this series along with HoO, I would die without it.

Leo and Percy are my favorite characters from anything, ever.

    I personally don't like Reyna/Jason also, so I agree

    - Harry Potter; a classic
    - Ink Trilogy (Heart, Spell and Death)
    - The Mortal Instruments / The Infernal Devices (I like the Infernal Devices a lot more)
    - The Hunger Games
    - A Song of Ice and Fire (Just started this, but I've seen the entire show)
    - A Series of Unfortunate Events; another classic
    - Airborn trilogy (Airborn, Skybreaker, Starclimber)
    - Saga of Darren Shan (Much better than Cirque Du Freak)

breathe it in, i'm gonna shine. it's my moment, i'm going to fly.
