I would have to say A New Kind Of Dreaming ... I didn't take too much attention of the plot at first but afterwards I found it very sad, I recommend people read it.

Gonna find me all that I'm owed
And I know where I'm gonna be then
When the red light's gonna shine on me"

The saddest book I've ever read was "Vicky Angel" by Jacqueline Wilson.

The only correct answer is "The Amber Spyglass" by Philip Pullman, the last book of the His Dark Materials trilogy. Anybody who says otherwise has not read that book.

Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion. - Steven Weinberg, Nobel Laureate

Ive read too many sad books...

Id probably have to say.... The ending of A series of Unfortunate events.

For obvious reasons, they were miserable throughout the whole series, and then at the end, you dont know if they reach land or not....Although ive always assumed that they did.
