Wow... That was a little more than I expected. All in all, I'm pleased with what I saw today.

    I'll but it simple:

1st gen starter megas, not a fan of their designs
Getting a kanto starter, I won't be using it
Poke bank, great idea, but do we really have to pay?

That was a bit underwhelming... but I'm glad that there's finally a method to transfer my Gen VPokemon into XY.
The best news is probably that we get the Gen 1 starters early in the game.

Those special edition 3DS' look freaking amazing!

All in all a very solid amount of info I think, considering there is probably going to be more on the next CoroCoro.

    Pretty underwhelming Direct.....
We were pretty certain the kanto starters would get mega evos, and the rest of the announcement was for a paid service....lol

You have to pay the service... that's how it works because of its costs.

Pokemon Bank is a great idea, and its good to see a way to actually trade your Pokemon from one game to another, without the aid of a secondary console.

As for the fee... well what do you expect? Services have to cost money in order for them to be sustainable, and since this is clearly a long term service, its beneficial to everyone that is sticks around.

    Oh, it's over...
Well it was a nice direct and it gave us excellent info, plus the megaevo of the kanto starters.

Doubt I'll use PokeBank but it's a cool idea.

    Mega Blastoise is awesome!

I don't expect this annual fee to exceed 4 or 5 dollars... that's not that much

My question with the pokebank is: will it be the only way to get pokemon from BW to XY? Or will they also do an ingame transfer for players with two 3ds consoles? It seems a shame to charge people for something some of us may only use once :/

I am now overly excited about Pokemon X and Y. Kanto megas, mega evolution secrets, transferring, bank, it's ALL TOO MUCH TOO HANDLE!

    But I don't have a 3DS

Mega Kanto Starters as well as the ability to get them early is great. I Think it was a really nice design to give people the Kanto Starters Early. It's like a new beginning.

I Also love The Idea of Pokemon Bank. Considering that it will be usable with future games, as well as maintenance so data isn't lost, an annual fee is fair enough as long as it doesn't over do it.

As long as the fee for Pokemon Bank isn't more then $5 a month, I'm cool with it.

For nostalgia's sake, I'm definitely picking Charmander, though whether I actually use it depends on what other Pokemon are available.

I'm sorta borderline on Bank. I want to know what this annual fee is. If it's something reasonable like 5-10 bucks, that's cool. But I'm not down for shelling out 20 bucks for it, or heaven forbid full title price either. Even if it is annual. And Nintendo can't expect people to actually pay that much for a service like this

So, now I've got a major problem.

Event Torchic, Fennekin, and a starter Charmander.

What am I going to do!?

OMG, The Kanto Starters and their Mega Evolution, I love you Nintendo and Game Freak!
Since I'm thinking of starting with Fennekin, It might be the choice between Bulbasaur & Squirtle
or I could get Charmander as well! :P

Pokebank: I think its a great idea! Except when the Internet cuts off.....I'll happily pay for it, if only to see all my awesome 3D mons. And the mega evos for the original startes are just awesome!

Well I'll only need to use poke bank once to transfers my pokemon
Hoping the cost isn't to unreasonable
I guess I'll have to use it to get my meaningful, shiny and flawless pokemon onto x

I'll be amazed if the fee is $5 a month.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it will be $15 a year... maybe $20 at most.

So, if you don't pay the fee, you lose your Pokemon, I guess?
