Just got the second badge after a long while!
Wondered if I could get some advice on team fillers (I normally have a team of 5 by the elite 4).

    My team so far:

    Greninja - Water/Dark
Mixed attacker, no solid move-set for the future yet.
    - Water Shuriken
    - Thief
    - Round
    - Smack Down
*All will likely change on Greninja.

    Pangoro - Fighting/Dark
    Tanky physical attacker.
    - Power-up Punch (w/ Iron Fist & Stab is quite useful)
    - Crunch
    - ?
    - ?

    Heliolisk - Electric/Normal
    Fast special attacker.
    - Parabolic Charge
    - Surf
    - Charge (stronger parabolic & sp def)
    - ?

Charizard - Fire/Dragon (only using mega)
    Fast physical attacker.
    - Aerial Ace
    - Outrage/Dragon Claw? (not sure which to use)
    - Flare Blitz (eventually)
    - ?

So I'm looking for one extra Pokemon to cover my teams weaknesses and some moveset suggestions please =]

I'd go with a steel type and a ground type. Garchomp and doublade would be my suggestions.

Ok, I'm having trouble with this Mamoswine of mine!

My Mamoswine was caught as a Piloswine and can not learn ice shard (don't know how much of a problem that is)
It has a nature giving it low special attack and high defense with a VERY high speed IV.

At this point, I don't know what his moveset should be (Im thinking about Earthquake, Ice Fang, Stone Edge/ Thrash, and Reflect/Light Screen/ Rest)

if someone could let me know if this is still an at least decent set for a Mamoswine or not, please do so.
My other option on the team is Aggron
(rest of the team being Chesnaught,Scolipede,Clawitzer,Houndoom, Noivern)

Thinking of replacing Pangoro with another physical attacker: Crobat, Nidoking or Tauros

    Gengar - Poison/Ghost
    Levitate
    -Shadow ball
    -Thunderbolt
    -Psychic
    -Sludge Bomb

    Blaziken - Fire/Fighting
    Speed Boost
    -Blaze Kick
    -Brick Break
    -Shadow Claw
    -Rock Slide

    Greninja - Water/Dark
    Protean
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Smack Down
    Dark Pulse

    Noivern - Flying/Dragon
    Infiltrator
    -Dragon Claw
    -Air Slash
    -Shadow Claw
    -Fly

    Gardevoir - Psychic/Fairy
    Synchronize
    -Psychic
    -Dazzling Gleam
    -Calm Mind
    -Thunder Wave

    Scizor - Bug/Steel
    Technician
    -X-Scissor
    -Night Slash
    -Iron Head
    -Brick Break

I am looking for major help with Scizor and Noivren. I am not real sure what to do with them from a moveset point of view. Scizor is definitely Attack based. Noivren is speed and SpAtk based.

I am also looking for recommendations on what to do with Greninja as I do not feel like Smack Down is the best option.

Noivren and Scizor get Hidden Power - Ground. Greninja gets Hidden Power - Electric.

All other feed back is greatly appreciated.

For Noivern, you might want to consider replacing Shadow Claw with Boomburst and Dragon Claw with Dragon Pulse. Boomburst has BP of 140, 100 accuracy, is a Special attack and no drawbacks, so what it lacks in coverage (that's what other team members are for, right?) it makes up for in sheer power. Dragon Pulse is a slightly more powerful version of Dragon Claw, but is a Special Attack rather than a physical Attack. Both Dragon Pulse and Boomburst can be relearned from the Move Relearner (in Dendemille Town) or learned at levels 70 and 75, respectively.

For Scizor, I prefer Bullet Punch since it is a Technician-boosted, STAB priority attack. Iron Head will be stronger after STAB, so if you want pure power go for it, but it doesn't have priority.

    Just my two cents.

Well I logged 80+ hours on X and compiled a Mega Team, I have somebody who lives with me playing Y so we were able to trade each other the version exclusive stones/pokemon. Sorta played more competitively the first play through and decided to trade all my pokes over to Y and start a second play through today focusing more on just Pokemon I like in general :3 Hatched an Eevee and traded it over to X. Thought it'd be cool/different to start out with a non-starter Pokemon~

This time I'm getting me a Sylveon for sure

Thinking of running the following team:

    Aegislash @ Leftovers (Physical Tank)
    Shadow Claw
    Sacred Shield
    Sacred Sword
    Gyro Ball

Gyarados @ Leftovers (Special Tank) (Not sure if you can use two of the same type of items)
    Rest
    Sleep Talk
    Waterfall
    Roar/Dragon Tail

Ferrothorn @ Not sure as I'd want to run Leftovers here too (He's here to spread entry hazards)
    Leech Seed
    Spikes
    Protect
    Power Whip

    Gardevoir @ ??? (Special Attacker)
    Moon Blast
    Psychic
    Toxic
    Thunderbolt

    Garchomp @ Life Orb
    Stealth Rock
    Outrage
    Earthquake
    Fire Blast/Swords Dance

    Volcarona @ Lum Berry
    Quiver Dance
    Bug Buzz
    Fire Blast
    Giga Drain/Hidden Power Ground

    Thoughts?

I know most are from OU from B/W2 but I think most will still be viable. Still worried about there not being a rapid spinner user on the team.

I'm sort of new to team optimization. That being said, I would like help with some optimal move sets for some pokemon I want to use. It be probably best to PM me your suggestions. The Pokemon are:
Blaziken,Alakazam,Gryados,Metagross,Dusknoir,Hydre igon,Greninja,Meowstic,Florges,Aegislash,Hawlucha, and Charizard. All are male except for Hyrdeigon, Meowstic, and Florges, FYI. Thanks in advanced!

    EDIT: also interested in Sylveon.

I can't seem to figure out a good Moveset for my Chesnaught? He used to have Wood Hammer, Hammer Arm, (some attack I can't remember), and Spiky Shield but I got rid of Wood Hammer (because of Recoil) and that random attack to use some HMs temporarily...but I can't figure out what moves I should give him when I decide to get rid of those HMs? I would like to keep Spiky Shield, though.

I'm thinking about splitting my team into two arcs, one for the main story, and one for post-gam (provided there's still enough storyline & activities to work with after defeating the champion)

Oh what the hey. I'm just finishing Y (Beat Elite Four 3 days ago), and thinking on what to do, in terms of my team and was thinking of giving my team some power up/replacing/making changes.

Mind you, I'm not afraid to breed/trade hunt for ideas. I do have access to a lot of tools.

    Chesnaught LvL 74 Mild Nature
    Body Slam
    Hammer Arm
    Wood Hammer
    Spiky Shield

    Florges Level 78 Quiet Nature
    Petal Dance
    Moonblast
    Grassy Terrain
    Misty Terrain

    Blastoise Level 71 Timid Nature
    Flash Cannon
    Water Pulse
    Rain Dance
    Iron Defense
I do use its Mega Form every so often

    Tyrantrum level 76 Adamant Nature
    Stone Edge
    Earthquake
    Dragon Claw
    Crunch

I couldn't think of anything to add while I was playing, but I'm trying to be more accepting of different options, as it was a fun journey through the game.
LFS (Looking For Something) Clause: The clause states that the larger one's will or desire to find or own something, the proportionally inversely more difficult it is to obtain. To clarify for the confused: The more you want something, the harder it is to get.
