What is the best nature for Chesnaught competitively? Also, how well would my team do in the metagame?

    Chesnaught
    Talonflame
    Blastoise
    Aegislash
    Snorlax

Final question, for the sixth member, would Sylveon or Scizor better compliment my team in the metagame?

I don't use "uber" Pokemon, I don't calculate stat values, I don't use cheating devices, I don't breed my way to perfection, and I don't care about natures. I catch my Pokemon the way they are, and treat them like individuals instead of brainless drones. If you use this philosophy, copy & paste this into your signature.(Started by Tyranitar)

One of the first Adamants hatched had 31 in EVERY iv, including special attack just by luck!

    Hatching some Jollys now.

Can you all help me with my move sets for this team? Right now I am just getting some ideas:

Tafonflame: Brave Bird, Flamethrower, Roost, Steel Wing
Heliolisk: Surf, Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse, Bulldoze
Gardevoir: Psychic, Thunderbolt, Dazzling Gleam, Calm Mind
Goodra: Aqua Tail, Outrage, Ice Beam, Earthquake

    For Talonflame
Flare Blitz instead of Flamethrower, even with the recoil, Flare Blitz can be a lot stronger due to higher base power and Talonflame has a lot higher attack than Special Attack. Some people would add Sword Dance, but I am not very sure about it yet.

    Hope this help

Pretty much done with Pokemon X, and looking ahead to Pokemon Y. So far, my planned team is:

    Blaziken
    Greninja
    Talonflame
    Gogoat
    Heliolisk

Normally I wouldn't put two Fire types in one team, but because of their secondary types their only overlapping weakness is Water. I should be fine as long as I don't use a Rock or Ground type.

I'm currently trying to decide what to use for the last slot. I'm leaning towards a Dragon type, but I can't make up my mind between Dragalge, Goodra and Noivern. (Tyrantrum is a badass, but it's also weak to Fighting like Greninja and Heliolisk, which makes me reluctant to use it on this team.)

    My Pokemon X team is:

    Venasaur
    Delphox
    Aurorus
    Hawlucha
    Sylveon
    Clawitzer

... so I certainly don't want to use any of those.

Current Team @ Cyllage City (all at lvl 25)

    Quilladin
    Impish Nature
    -Leech Seed
    -Protect
    -Vine Whip
    -Rollout

My physical tank that simply tanks those hits and hits hard with its good physical attack

    Frogadier
    Hasty Nature
    -Water Pulse
    -Round
    -Lick
    -Quick Attack

My speed mixed attacker who has been fantastic so far

    Braixen
    Modest Nature
    -Psybeam
    -Ember
    -Scratch
    -Flame Charge

Special attacker/tank that dishes out a very good amount of special damage

I want to add more pokemon now. Any suggestions? I was thinking Heliolisk, but he seems really frail... Anyone have experience with him? Also I'm not sure who to use Tyrantrum, Goodra, or Noivern. Tyrantrum will be a physical attacker, Goodra will be a special tank, and Noivern will be a special scouter, any suggestions here?
    Any Help is appreciated!
    Thanks,

I used Heliolisk and I loved him. Although frail at first, he eventually became very good once he evolved and gets some nice coverage with Thunderbolt and Surf. Just be wary of physical attackers.

I haven't really battled people very much since the link cable days. I'm not one for the OU teams and all of that I just want a team or so of my favorite pokemon, but I want to have the best type coverage I can.
I'm still working on move sets for some of them, but this is what I have so far.

    Blastoise with Blastoisinite
    Mega Launcher
    EVs: 252 SpA / 252 HP / 4 SpD
    Nature: Modest
    Rapid Spin
    Scald
    Dark Pulse
    Ice Beam or Aura Sphere

A new idea for my favorite Pokemon. A more offensive based spinner as opposed to his defensive Toxic spinner build. I still have a Bold Blastoise ready for that in case I don't go this route.

    Staraptor with Life Orb
    Reckless
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
    Nature: Jolly
    Brave Bird
    Close Combat
    U-Turn or Double-Edge
    Roost

Staraptor is my favorite bird just because he's such a beast. I feel like this build gives him a great offensive with little resistances and the ability to scout out the field and recover a little health if I can force a switch out.

That's all I've really got so far. Tons of ideas, but I don't know what to do. So far, I've bred and trained a few of these, and the others will be available once the bank drops.

Togekiss (Either a Nasty Plot build or straight offensive)
    Nidoking
    Krookodile
    Charizard X
    Arcanine
    Magnezone
    Luxray
    Lucario
    Tyranitar
    Torterra
    Sceptile
    Sylveon
    Weavile
    Pangoro
    Ferrothorn
    Abomasnow
    Hydregion
    Dragonite
I've... Been busy. I just don't know what teams to make. I need suggestions badly. Lol

Nidoking or krookodile would be good as both blastoise and staraptor are bad against electric. And great in general.
Yo, fellow Poke' lovers! My favorite is Feraligatr, but I love most pokemon. I've lots of pokemon hatched/caught, are willing to trade some.

Can breed a lot of pokemon, I have POKERUS, lot of HA pokes, PM me if you are willing to trade.

My Pangoro in the 6th gen remake of a 3rd gen game will be my future 63rd hundred. This is a great epiphany.

Yeah. I was wanting to add one of them in for that reason. I just need to see who else I'll draft to decide if I need a physical or special sweeper.

    Arcanine could fill that roll.

Helioptile is pretty awful while you have it. It's speed doesn't make up for its frailty and you're stuck with the pitifully weak Thundershock for a good few levels. Heliolisk is a lot better though, I'd definitely recommend it. It lacks coverage outside of Electric and Normal moves for a while but that doesn't really take away from it. Also, you should definitely evolve it as soon as possible (Shalour City) if you're wondering, because Helioptile doesn't learn anything of worth that isn't either a TM move or in Heliolisk's starting moveset (plus it really sucks).

I'm currently in Victory Road and this is my team:

They're all pretty solid, but I have glaring Ground and Fighting weakness which are kind of a pain (seriously **** those battle girls). Because of this I'm considering replacing Dragalge with something else, but idk what. I want it to be a Gen VI Pokemon but there's nothing I really like that doesn't give me another Fighting, Ground, or Fairy weakness. I'll probs end up sticking it out and hope that I don't run into too many Fighting types.

I'm thinking about a team that uses
    Greninja (Protean/Modest)
    Aegislash (Adamant)
    Togekiss (Hopefuly Serene Grace/Modest)
    Dragalge (Poison Point/Modest)
    Heliolisk (Sand Veil/Modest or Timid)
    Tyranitar (Sand Stream/Adamant)

Obviously this means needing coverage for ground/fighting types as they're the biggest threat, however I'd like to get opinions on this potential team, movesets, Pokemon changes, anything really.

Hum, Frogadier learns Psychic Moves, which covers Fighting Weakness, and you have Togekiss, who resists both Types, which could essentially save that.

It's not that bad, considering that those two have SE against many Teams here.

True, plus Protean Greninja (didn't realize I put Frogadier, too much breeding from them I think haha) will be quite useful if played well. I am mostly breeding for my partner but naturally am interested in using a similar team to him.

Okay. I'm having a little trouble with my team. I have:

    Gogoat
    - Horn Leech
    - Milk Drink
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide/Aerial Ace

    Clawitzer
    - Aura Sphere
    - Surf
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Dark Pulse

    Delphox
    - Shadow Ball
    - Flamethrower
    - Solar Beam
    - Psychic

    Goodra
    - Ice Beam
    - Power Whip
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Sludge Bomb

Then I have 2 more slots to fill. IDEALLY, I'd like to only use the new Kalos pokemon. I was thinking of using my Sylveon I'm not entirely sure. Any suggestions?

    Klefki
    Dazzling Gleam
    Flash Cannon
    Psychic
    Recycle/Crafty Shield
Despite it being more suited to Defensive stuff, Klefki can function an Offense Oriented Role.
Obviously, Recycle would only be usefull with Berries or Gems, and Crafty Sield can dpfunction with more things, but requires a bit of prediction.

    Aurorus
    Freeze-Dry
    Ancient Power
    Charge Beam/Thunderbolt
    Flash Cannon/Dark Pulse
IMO this thing is actually really good, despite it's Speed and Weaknesses, it can function as a rather good Sp. Attacker.

Thanks. UNFORTUNATELY, I don't have access to the Sail Fossil to get Aurorus - I already picked the Jaw Fossil...

I have been really wanting to use either Klefki, Malamar, Pangoro or Aegislash. But don't really know how to work with them. And I don't think Malamar is all that good - except for its typing...

    Oh, Malamar?

It's amazing if you have one with Contrary and Superpower, since every time it sues the Move, because of Contrary, it's Attack and Defense goes up by 1!

Using hat along with Night Slash and Psycho Cut also IIRC gives it unreaisted Coverage.

Here's a set thing for it.

    Malamar
    Superpower
    Night Slash
    Psycho Cut
    Aerial Ace
Unresisted coverage, plus Aerial Ace because Flying Coverage handles Bug, something Malamar really doesn't want.
