Ok, this is more of a competitive team but what do you all think would go well as my sixth pokemon?

So far it's Charizard (Mega X), Ferrothorn, Clawitzer, Togekiss, Mienshao, ????

I'm willing to replace Togekiss and Mienshao to help balance out the typing.
Im looking for a counter to ghost, fairy, and/or psychic.

I think your last pokemon can be an aegislash because you need a steel type to defend against fairy.plus it is really srtong
.you can find a hinedge at route 6

I picture a yin yang symbol of poison and fairy with your other two pokes being the dots lol.
Azumaril and clefable are cool fairies. And you used who you wanted without worrying ab coverage. Lots of time invested here too. Enjoy

Well......That is a good choice but Aegislash is a ghost/steel type so steel can beat fairy.Ghost can beat ghost and psychic. You say I need a pokemon that can beat fairy, ghost, and psychic type.

Yeah, but he said he already has a Ferrothorn, and adding an Aegislash will just make two of your Pokémon weak to fire. You usually don't pack two of the same types unless you have a strategy in mind.

Anyone saying Red is a good trainer please explain to me how he can have a Jolteon get OHKO'ed by a Thunderbolt. From a Rhyhorn.

I'm currently in Sinnoh and Johto-Kanto at the moment. If you want to do a trade, notify me when as I won't be online in Kalos (Gen VI).

He said he might replace Ferrothorn with a Cradily. which is a rock/grass

Which in my opinion is a bad move. Ferrothorn has more bulk, resistances, and utility than Cradily; replacing an OU with an NU is a no-no unless you have a particular strategy in mind.

And honestly, Aegislash is a bad pair with Mega Charizard X. You're both just asking for an Earthquake.

I have another team in mind, specialising in Battle Maison 2vs 2 battle

    Charizard Y- Timid Nature
    Solar Beam
    Heat Wave
    Dragon Pulse
    Air Slash

Leafeon- Chrolophyll (Adamant Nature Holding Rocky Helmet)
    Leaf Blade
    X-Scisor
    Helping Hand
    Synthesis /Dig/Grasswhistle

(I choose Helping hand because Leafeon can boost Charizard Y's attacks), together with Drought and his Uber SP ATK, I have no idea how the enemy get sweeped off
Having a Chlorophyll ability will utilise the boost in speed during sunlight.

Haxorus- Mold Breaker Jolly holding Assault Vest
    Earthquake
Dual Chop/Outrage/Dragon Claw (not sure about them because Dual Chop doesnt have a perfect accuracy)
Poison Jab to counter annoying fairies
Brick Break (or other moves will be appreciated)

Not sure of the 4th member, probably some1 who can learn a 1 hit KO move?
    FC: 4141-3147-5808
    Type : Poison = Kakuna,Venomoth,Whirlipede
send me a PM if you wanna add me
    looking for
Pokemon: Ditto FS or 4IV Ditto, Leavanny

    For Aegislash
I don't know how good a mixed Aegislash is as the one I use are Physical Aegislash. The reason I like Physical Aegislash more is because it can access to Sword Dance which gain attack by 2 stages allowing Aegislash to sweep your opponent team easily with Shadow Sneak or being able to OHKO Bulky Pokemin with Sacred Sword. I would replace Flash Cannon with Sword Dance, even if Flash Cannon STABs and can cover Fairy, Sacred Sword and Shadow Sneak (for single battle) or Shadow Claw (for double battle or triple battle) covers enough types. If Mixed Set works, then keep it.

    For Blaziken
You definitely don't need Blast Burn on Blaziken as 2 Blaze Kick is stronger and Blast Burn will need Blaziken to recharge 1 turn which will give your opponent an opportunity to Knock Blaziken out in the next turn (if this was for in-game, the negative thing is it forces it to switch).
I would replace Blast Burn with Protect for free Speed Boost or Sword Dance for Attack boost.

Also don't use Frenzy Plant on Chesnaught, as Wood Hammer will be stronger than Frenzy Plant due to its low Special Attack. And don't use Hydro Cannon on Blastoise too, just don't use recharge move.

    Hope this help

    My Y team was pretty good, it was;

    Greninja
    Talonflame
    Pangoro
    Aegislash
    Tyrantrum
    Slyveon

    Though I will say Talonflame sucked for most of my playthrough, its only real value came from Will-O-Wisp and Roost stalling. I have a planned X team;

    Chesnaught
    Delphox
    Clawitzer
    Florges
    Aurorus
    Goodra
    Laurence | Rock
    3325-1721-6092
    Onix | Shuckle | Nosepass

How are people so fast at this game? I must just be super slow. I have both versions and only got the Fairy Badge in Y and am trying to train a team for Elite Four in X...I went in once and got rolled by the Steel guy. So I bred a Shinx I got via Wonder Trade and am leveling a Luxray for nostalgic purposes (I basically had a Luxray in Pearl that carried me through the game and made it total cake). But I get a bit frustrated trying to figure out what to train and when to train and then get distracted. I can't even think of going back through either.

I'm currently using a lvl 100 Zangoose, 69 Xerneas, 75 Delphox, 73 Meowstic, 74 Lucario and now my Luxray who is up and coming at 50. But my Delphox is getting kinda smooshed. I might have to sub her out for the Blaziken

My team is shaping up to be:

    Greninja
    Talonflame
    Gogoat
    Meowstic
    Sylveon

I'm having a bit of trouble deciding on my sixth member. I'm currently debating between Aegislash, Tyrantrum and Avalugg but I'm unsure. I want to only use Kalos Pokémon. Any suggestions?
