It certainly wouldn't appear as if they have in-game locations, no.

    My quick opinions:
Volcanion is heat and water, which may have some connection to Groudon and Kyogre with the remakes.
Thousand arrow has no octogons, and the octogons on Thousand wave aren't green. Once again, Groudon and Kyogre.
Not sure about how to get Hoopa, but it is probably mystery gift.

We already know Volcanion's origins, though. I get the logic, but I doubt there's going to be any connection.

What's this now? Yes it does and yes they are. And even if neither were true, what exactly would connect them to Groudon/Kyogre?

That only tells us about what happens after we get Volcanion. How do we get him in the first place?
Thousand arrows has nothing that connects it to Zygarde, and with the release of ORAS, we have to expect something new coming from it. There are two of them, so I would think a legendary duo, and one looks an awful lot like a water move, so why not the duo with a water type that is actually relevant?

...Huh? Assuming I'm not misunderstanding what you're talking about, I was referring to his claim about Thousand Arrows/Waves; yes Arrows does have the octogons, and yes the octogons in Waves are green (before turning white).

Probably via event. Point is, we know it to dwell in the mountains of Kalos.

Aside from its type, power and appearance, sure. Still not sure what could possibly tie them to Groudon/Kyogre besides, "Why not?" though.

I haven't seen anywhere anything about them both being Ground type. And Volcanion had dwelled in the mountains of Kalos, but that doesn't mean that is where you get it.

Pretty sure it's been confirmed they're identical in type and power to Land's Wrath (Serebii's Attack Dex has it as such, at any rate, and seeing as we have had people have access to the moves I assume that would have been changed if it were incorrect).

Well, unless the Z/XY2 explores this Southern Kalos and delves into where it can be found, I doubt we will get Volcanion there. But your entire point was that it could have a connection to Groudon/Kyogre, which doesn't appear to be the case. It's native to Kalos and not Hoenn, either way.

None of this has been proven as a fact, though? Otherwise we have no clue and we cannot make speculations on what we do not know.

No it is fact. Unless you're saying that every instance of the move being shown has been an elaborate hoax

But my question is, who found out that it is a ground type move and put it on the attack dex? And where did those intriguing descriptions come from? If someone was just having a field day and typing in random stuff, then we can't base anything on that.

The people who hacked the attacks into their games would have seen all that info when they did so...

But did they confirm that this is what they saw? Or is it what someone inferred was there?

If that isn't what was there, we would know about it.

Direct download, most likely. Just like every event since after the inital Victini distribution.

But who said that it was an event pokemon? It most likely is, but still, what if it isn't?

The game did, when it referred to it as a Mythical Pokémon (which is in-game speak for "event-only Pokémon") and showed that you can use one to trigger an event in XY after receiving it, just like with pretty much every other event Pokémon.

This is Diancie's Pokedex entry for Pokemon X, according to the Serebii.net pokedex
"A sudden transformation of Carbink, its pink, glimmering body is said to be the loveliest sight in the whole world."
    "A sudden transformation of Carbink"

I don't know if anyone has brought this up before, but could this suggest being able to transform a Carbink into Diancie? Maybe not all the Carbink you want, instead only one?

This has been discussed to death, we already know that it's not possible though.
