I do agree with that. At least Serena gets more than 3-4 Pokemon by the Victory Road fight. Though I really would like to know what happened to having more Pokemon for the leaders. Admittedly, with what small teams they had, there were some interesting choices, especially in the first two gyms.

Yeah, it's funny. Grant was probably the hardest gym leader of the gen.

I think it depends on your team, but it's nice to see the Rock leader not be a simple fight for once. Clemont wasn't bad either when I fought him, though not at the level of Grant, and Valerie would have been trouble if I didn't have Doublade or Delphox.

Agreed, Grant, and Clemont actually gave me some trouble, Valerie on the other hand was a walk in the park since I used a Nidoking. Most of the gyms in this gym are actually really cool. 6/8 gyms are actually creative and unique designs *cough*ViolaandClemont*cough*.

Valerie wasn't so tough, but with the rest of my team not being too effective in that fight bar Dunsparce, I realize that one could have been tougher if my team didn't have Doublade and Delphox. I agree on the gym designs, though.

Viola's was nice compared to the first gyms of the past, but in comparison to the rest of the Kalos gyms, it's not as impressive. Clemont's could have also been better, but at least it made sense in that they made use of the Prism Tower's height. And Bonnie wasn't just some useless NPC that did absolutely nothing. A shame they went that route with his gym, because Clemont is my favorite leader. Nice to have a young person as an Electric leader, too. Still, to think that he is the gym leader of that massive town? I respect the kid.

The gym puzzles were cool, but they were ruined a bit because of how overleveled I was. I ran right through each gym leader with no trouble. The Exp Share is a blessing and a curse.

I like how Wulfric acknowledges Ice's feeble side, shows how Ice is basically a "hit or die" type.

And I actually liked the rosters of the gym leaders, at least they used strong Pokémon BST wise, stuck with Kalos Pokémon as their ace, and didn't double up on the same Pokémon like Flannery and her Slugma for example. Hell even the gym trainers were diverse too with each trainer using different Pokémon on their teams. That said, I swept Grant and Korrina easily with Hawlucha and Honedge and my biggest challenge out of them was Clemont.

In my opinion: 9/10, just thought they could've been like the Gen V gym leaders and their personalities.

I agree. The fact that it goes towards everyone in your party makes training a breeze but it almost makes the game...too easy..

No kidding. Most of my Pokemon were in the 70's when I got to the Elite Four...

I wonder if part of the ease is from super training as well.

Let's not forget your Mega Pokémon, which is technically a Legendary Pokémon, and you're the only trainer with that nuke going everywhere with it and hurting poor Ramos. There's a reason why I discarded Mega Stones as soon as I got them.

Conversely, without it on, a level gap starts to widen. I'm consistently underleveled, though i did turn it on for a few levels so people could evolve.
    The 5th gym was rough.

I found it fun OKOing Ramos. Mega Charizard rocks.

Anistar Gym was ok. It was nice aesthetically, but the puzzle itself was just like almost every other Gym Puzzle in existance (It's just a maze), and Olympia was a ver shallow character.
I think Snowbelle Gym was the best of this generation. Even though it's yet another Ice-Type Gym, I'm glad it wasn't just another sliding puzzle. It actually gave me some trouble. Wulfric's also a developed character by this game's standards, so it's a pretty interesting final Gym.

Anistar Gym was barely even a maze, it was a straight path for the most part with one or two places leading to an immediate dead end, maybe with an optional Trainer battle at the end. I liked Snowbelle Gym, even if I didn't really see what it had to do with the Ice type.

I have to say, I was disappointed in the difficulty of the Elite 4. My entire team was 10 levels below them and I still swept them, to the point where I beat Siebold without taking a hit.

I got my 7th badge and I have to say this my pokemon have been way over each gym leaders pokemon. I only had one pokemon faint and that was when Olmypia's cat took out my weakest pokemon at the time.

Is anyone else having that problem or is suppose to be like that. Like right now my Greninja is lv 67 (non ev trained) headed to face the last gym leader when I find him

If you think you're over levelled then turn the Exp. Share off.

If you actually used your other pokemon equally and not rely mainly in greininja for everything your team should be in the mid 50s if you didn't do excessive grinding.

That's not much different than when I played through HG/SS the first time. The only people in all of the Elite 4 to even hit me were Karen and Lance, and Karen was the only one who could KO even one of my team. This Elite 4 gave my team little trouble too (albeit more than Johto), but I wasn't disappointed by them. They were definitely an interesting looking group, if nothing else.

It was easier then normal, but I never really had to use potions or redo gyms, but this time around, I could go to the gym, defeat all the players inside, and do the gym leader, and come out with two non-fainted pokemon, whilst in previous games, I had to go at least once to the pokemon center, and most of my pokemon were always fainted xD

Ouch me for having to do the elite 4 like 6 times again... The only reason I made it last time, was because I stocked myself full of revives and potions xP

I don't know if anybody brought this up, but Drasna is apparently from Sinnoh. She mentions before her battle that she grew up in a town which is steeped in history, and her grandparents told her stories about the rulers of time and space, which inspired her to be a Dragon specialist. Therefore, she is quite clearly from Celestic Town, to be specific.
