I think I had the most fun in Clemont's Gym, simply because it's easy to gain experience points there by getting the quiz questions purposely wrong. You wouldn't believe how many electric types I stopped with Aurorus and Chesnaught lol. I was still getting a slight experience gap though, however the rare candies found in-game helped even that out. By the end of the Elite 4, my highest leveled Pokemon were Azumarill at Lv. 76 with the lowest being Raichu at Lv. 73, who was super trained in speed.

I like the leader and gym designs but just wish they were better integrated into the story, ala BW (even B2W2), and had a part to play. Korrina was the best displayed and the others should have gotten somewhat similar roles.
My thoughts on the gym leaders
In B/W, the gym leaders acctually did something when Plasma attacked. At that point, Plasma only wanted Unova. Here, Flare was gonna wipe out most people in the world! Where were those guys, stuck in traffic?! I would have really liked to see more of them outside of their gyms and the battle maison. (exception to Korrina). I'm not counting Wulfric's extreemly brief apperance in the pokemon village.
This a question for people who've battled the elite 4: How would you rank them from easiest to hardest?
Also I love that Valerie has such an "off" personality. The fact that she wants to actually be a pokemon is wacky, but endearing.
Hopes for Megas
Well just finished Gym 4. Bit behind in my levels due to my rushing through, but still fun all the way through.
Pokemon Pearl version Nuzlocke teamTheo, Quiet Nature, Lv.36 Stella, Lonely Nature, Lv.33Elvis, Calm Nature, Lv.33 Clara, Hasty Nature, Lv.33Balthazar, Gentle Nature, Lv.33 Cassidy, Adamant Nature, Lv.33
A quick training question. Is there anywhere better to do post game grinding than the Elite Four? If not, getting things to 100 is going to be so tedious.
I turned off EXP share becuzz it's whack. It's not fun to play pokemon for me of they're all godly. That's why I usually quit playing once my mains hit level 60.
Anyway, I LOVE this game more than any other pokemon game. It's superb!
However, there's SO much to do an explore that I somehow ended up with a team of level 30 pokemon and only 2 gym badges haa. And I don't use EXP share. I can't comment on the story (other than the villains are terrible) but I think the gym leaders should be much harder. Gym leaders should scale their pokemon levels to the ones in your party, that way they're always a bit stronger than you. Getting a gym badge should mean something. They should all hve at least 4 pokemon minimum. Also, can we have some more intense AI? For random trainers, it's okay for it to be extremely easy to beat them. But I want gym leaders to make me sweat!
Otherwise, absolutely NO complaints about this game except the lack of any interesting fairy types other than xerneas -__-
I just don't get it why people say the game was too easy. For me, it was really hard since the beginning. I guess I was dumb enough to choose Bulbasaur and Chespin and getting swept because of common weaknesses, but it was so hard at some points. I remember getting my whole team swept in a double battle by a Mr. Mime near to the town with the big rocks (forgot the name).
Anyway, strangely enough, my whole team was underleveled when I got to the Pokemon League. My highest level pokemon was Chesnaught being lv. 63, followed by Venusaur (62), Golurk (60), Salamence (59) and my shiny Boldore (59). I just don't get it how people got their teams to level 70.
E4 was ok. Some were tough and some were a breeze.
Spoiler:- For those that finished the game:
I didn't use Yveltal or Lucario or my Torchic, didn't Super Train or grind for exp. I just don't get it why people were so overleveled.

I don't really like to admit it, but yeah even without using Exp Share (much), grinding, or EV Training it was still fairly easy for me. Had this been any other game the levels at which the Leaders/E4/Champ were at would have crushed me, but really a couple broken mechanics ruined it. The Gym Leaders really need to start using four or so pokemon at around gyms 5 or 6.
Then the Elite Four was broken for a number of reasons (only using four pokemon instead of five, not getting progressively stronger one after the other, no Mega-Evolutions and not particularly stellar teams). The only pokemon of Diantha's that gave me any trouble were Gourgeist and MegaGardevoir (though both of which were actually really annoying and difficult).
Yes, you can go out of your way to make the game difficult for yourself (i.e. on my rematch with the E4 I went completely without healing or switching pokemon and got just beaten by Wikstrom's Aegislash, the last pokemon before Diantha), but you really shouldn't need to.

I has officially claimed
I kind of creamed the champion's Mega Pokémon with a Moonblast-to-the-face from my Xerneas. I suppose Mega Evolutions are never going to outclass legendaries...
Has there even ever been dark type gym? I don't think so. It's a hope I actually had for X and Y. ):
Absolutely loved Viola because the whole photographer idea was amazing, and her type was bug!
Grant is also a very well created gym leader. Didn't think so much of Korrina.
However, I found Korrina the most difficult with her freaking Hawlucha.

Add me and we can trade or battle sometime! ^,^
Oh, and speaking about the champion, she has even less character backstory than all the previous champions. Blue always butted in in your travels, Lance was a hero through and through, Steven/Wallace did involve himself quite a lot during the evil teams' plots, Cynthia quite frankly was always next to you...and never took care of things herself because she knew she would win anyway, Alder is kind of cool unless we talk about his atrocious team setup (which is just the same as hers), and Iris got a lot of development herself.
Diantha just...shows up two times without making much of an impression, and you'll probably end up skipping her ads on TVs.
Hardest Gym Leader: Clemont - His Heliolisk was a huge pain with its Speed, making it very hard for my team to counter. Braixen managed to survive and defeat it with Psyshock.
Easiest Gym Leader: Grant - Just two Flying Press's from Hawlucha /story
I didn't find any of the E4 laughably easy but Siebold and Gyarados and Barabarcle were a challenge for me.
Do you like Fan-fiction? How about deciding on different choices? If you like both, come join this Face-Off where you get to decide on the outcomes for what I write!
Easiest leader for me would have to be either Korrina or Ramos. My team got a little overleveled at that gym, so Doublade crushed her with Aerial Ace, and Ramos couldn't stand a chance against Braixen. Not sure about the Elite 4 myself. None of them were a joke to fight, but I don't think I had a particularly tough time against any of them. Maybe Malva, since Earthquake from Dunsparce was really my best move.
