As for Brock and Professor Ivy...errr...despite the numerous things I've heard, I'm just going to say that it was a bad break-up. Considering Ivy was the only woman so far (well if you don't count Misty or May) that Brock's been with the longest (as opposed to one episode), it must have been pretty hard.

Shocking, no? Allow me to explain.. I mean that the writers haven't actually thought up an explaination for Brock's behaviour..*sigh* and it seems they don't have any plans to...
As for the other thoeries..

Hmm.. Well.. for one thing.. I'm not quite sure that the writers will bring such a subject into the show... Whilst it is true that some who have been raped show a similar behavior and don't want to talk about it... it appears that Brock has forgotten all about what happened.. i just don't imagine that's possilbe really..

Well, if you think about it, Brock does play a fairly significant role as he is both cook and caretaker of the gang and their Pokémon. I mean, could you see Ash or May try to pull off a meal without the words "fast food restaurant" involved? lol
A Pokémon capture or the evolution of his Mudkip in the regions to come would be great if possible...
