Well they did literally sit on open vacancies for years just so Obama couldn't appoint someone. I almost hope the 35-50% SS cuts force something, because if that doesn't do anything for that group nothing will.

poor taste in timing. US drone strikes hit and killed civilians in aleppo last week. drop the bomb probably wasnt the best way to put that. really insensitive dude(cant believe i said that).

Also, to respond to the third party thing from earlier, starting one now would be a good idea. younger liberals are dissatisfied with the current DNC, and getting on the socialist bandwagon with campaigning would do you some good voterwise.
If you dislike the socialist part, libertarian has some growth if you are interested in that

Green party is a joke under jill stein tbh

I can't name a presidential candidate the Greens have run in my lifetime that I have ever thought highly of if I was even aware of them.

How is going from socialist to libertarian a smart move? Like I don't get the actual thought process that leads from one to the other.

what i am saying is that if you dont like the more left leaning socialist 3rd party, there is a more right leaning libertarian party.

Basically, plenty of options, but those 2 will probably see the biggest growth next election due to the massive S***storm that was this election

And now that incident has resulted in murder. The Russian ambassador to Turkey was murdered while in Turkey.

Time to see just how our new President reacts to this, once he realizes that in reality (as opposed to his crappy reality show) this sort of thing has consequences.

I was about to answer you by naming one, but then I realized, you're right, I can't for the life of me think of even one.
I support: Mr. Barrack Obama, Ms. Hillary Clinton, Liberalism in all its forms, LGBT rights, pro-choice, affordable healthcare, Social Security, a Path to Citizenship, and civil rights.

I oppose: Mr. Donald Trump, Conservativism, corporate greed, austerity, the NRA, pro-lifers, fundamentalists, and the death penalty.

I regret: NONE of those views.

jill stein, for all she did re: recounts, is a little too tinfoil-hat-y about certain things (like vaccines), and ralph nader is kind of a clown. other than them, i can't think of any green party presidential candidates who have ran since 1990.

And the problem with Gary Johnson is that he gets very mad when somebody asks him to explain his opinion (like, not even challenging it necessarily).

Also that he's not really knowledgeable about some important things that a president should know.

But I suppose Donald Trump also doesn't know that he constantly looks like he's trying to get Vladimir Putin to go to the junior prom with him, so that may not even be a barrier anymore.

So only 31% of people think Trump will make a bad Supreme Court pick, but I'm willing to bet at least half of Americans don't understand the Supreme Court.

Considering the average age of the Supreme Court, Trump may appoint more crooks and crackpots to the court.

Well let's put it this way,

More Republicans also blame Obama for Hurricane Katrina than anything else. They just live in their own little bubble now.

But for Supreme court picks we're most likely to get Heritage Foundation picks, who are so bad it's past the point of joking.

Trump says he wants to stock up on nukes because we apparently don't have enough already with enough to destroy everything.

The President Elect has finally gotten two big names (I use the term loosely) to perform at the inauguration:

    http://www.aol.com/article/news/2016...tion/21640973/

Read his tweet. He actually expects people to believe he turned down A-list bands to book these two pieces of garbage.

(And offended any actual fans here of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir by referring to them as garbage, please speak up and I will gladly apologize.)

The people who are booked don't even want to perform, they're contractually obligated too. So there's the million jokes about the first women to lose their rights in the Trump presidency.

We don't have to destroy everything, just China.

More seriously though, they might be sold off or stored in other countries to make them nuclear powers like Pakistan. Putin wants to redraw MENA, so nuclear bombs are going to help, just like how Soviet ones helped during Israel-Arab war for Egypt.

    Welcome to Trump's America.
This sort of **** happens all the time in Turkey and Russia and their diaspora, so expect this to turn into an international issue soon.

Just recently pro-Erdogan Turks raided an pro-CHP Alevi center in Germany. They also routinely assassinate or plan to assassinate Kurdish political figures a la MOSSAD.

(I should probably also mention that this sort of **** happens routinely regardless of an authoritarian right-wing populist revolutionary or hate groups like KKK because of other reasons

It won't last if Trump isn't impeached for treason.
