Hope the Tigers can stay hot. Enough time to catch up to Cleveland should they slump, or at the very least grab one of the wild-card spots.

The Twins are quite the strange team this season... Score 6 runs vs the Braves in 2 games then score 22 runs vs the Indians in two games

Not really news for the MLB but apparently Baseball and Softball will return in the 2020 Olympic games.

I'm surprised we're behind the Giants by 2 games and leading the 1st wild card with all these injuries. xD

I almost got tickets to the Tigers/White Sox game on Wednesday. I'm hoping to go to a Tigers game one of these days. Hopefully they can avoid slumps. We shall see.

The Tigers beat the Red Sox 10-5 yesterday.
JD Martinez is having a great August for the Tigers.

My dream World Series matchup as of now is Indians-Cubs. They have the longest title droughts out of all MLB teams. Seeing either one win would make me happy. Of the other teams with a 40+ year title drought, Texas and Washington are also in playoff position now.

September's here so the Hunt for October starts it's engine fully max! All the division leaders seems to lock up their place except the NL West and AL East.

    Wild cards should be interesting.

This decision caused mixed reactions. I'm leaning towards the right decision side. Mainly because he's coming off from the DL from blisters. Same thing for Stripling as he also came off from Tommy John. I want Hill to be healthy for the postseason.

I know perfect games are a very milestone achievement. But there's a little chance of blowing it.

Roberts pulled Hill because the blister was beginning to reoccur. That makes it a non-discussion, because keeping him out here would have caused further injury.

And that's why I agree at this decision.

It's bad enough that we have a lot of players on the DL. I want no more of that.

The Tigers lost to the Orioles again today...If losing yesterday 11-3 wasn't bad enough...

Well this upcoming series could decide the AL Central with 2nd place Detroit playing first place Cleveland and the Cubs should clinch the NL Central tomorrow with their magic number currently at 1

Detroit would have to sweep for it to matter, though, and even then Cleveland would still lead the division with the clock rapidly ticking down. I think the Tigers know that the division isn't strictly out of reach but that the wild card is probably their more likely avenue to a playoff spot.

dem Blue Jays are struggling. The AL East is very competitive with four teams trying to pursue playoff spots.

I have a feeling the Tigers will miss the playoffs. I'm such a positive fan...The Tigers have been up and down, very inconsistent. I just want them to make the playoffs at least.

With so many teams still in play for the wild cards I hope we get a tie breaker game this year

Jose Fernandez from the Marlins died today.

Baseball is mourning the loss of a young great pitcher.
