The only new volumes I got were the Cotton-Drifting arc (numbers 3 and 4) and the last volume of the Atonement arc (volume 18), so my volume count goes up to 48, though it'll be 49 around the end of the month, as the first volume for the Massacre arc is being released in a couple of weeks, and I preordered it a few weeks ago. All I need now is the Time Killing and Beyond Midnight arcs and my Higurashi manga will be up-to-date. (May or may not get Demon Exposing arc in the future.)

Okay, collection up to 49 now, as my first volume of Massacre arc came in the mail yesterday. Thing is, though, is that Yen Press combined the first two volumes of the arc into one, so it's a pretty big volume of 469 (around that number) pages, and it really sticks out from the rest of the Higurashi collection. I know this isn't their first time doing it, I hear they did it with Demon Exposing, but still... I don't know their reasons for it. Looks like they'll be doing that into Festival Accompanying arc as well.

Either way, it was still really good, and I did have a good surprise at the sight of it, so I can't complain.

Tomorrow, I'm buying the Time Killing volumes off Amazon. Was going to go for Beyond Midnight, but I guess I'll wait on that for a little bit longer. My brother's reading the manga now, so might as well keep it in order. May or may not buy Demon Exposing, since I'm not sure where it would exactly fit into the timeline, if it's between Beyond Midnight and Eye-Opening or what.

All right, guess I can raise the volume count to 53, as I bought Time Killing last week, and Beyond Midnight about an hour-and-a-half ago. It won't be official until I get to hold the books, but as Amazon confirmed the order, guess that's the amount I now have.

Almost caught up with Higurashi now. I just need to buy Demon Exposing arc, but I don't know when that will be, especially with Massacre's second volume coming out in a couple of months. If I'm lucky, and if I don't buy anything else, I'll get one or both for Christmas. Guess the wait can be worth it.

Okay, so you've got a 1000 manga volumes, of which 1/10 is Naruto/Bleach. And you have Fairy Tail volumes, but no One Piece? I still don't get it..

There's my answer. Oh, and the pirate-theme just doesn't excite me and the art style seems 'weird' to me.

All right, volume count is now officially 52. I say this because the first delivery had a mistake in which the second volume of Beyond Midnight was sent instead of Time Killing. I got the second delivery today, and thus it proves they made a mistake the first time around (and that it was an accidental cheating out of money). So I'm going to contact the person in the morning and present the evidence I have on me about what happened. Don't know what'll happen after that, I just hope I won't have to pay for the book again.

So yeah.

I forgot to mention buying Pandora Hearts 11 and Black Butler 10 back in August. Since then I've been on a manga buying hiatus, but I'm slowly adding volumes to my Amazon cart so I can catch up on all of my series at once. I can't wait until a few of them end, though. I'm also going to try to limit the amount of ongoing series I follow from now on, because I always feel compelled to buy new volumes as soon as they come out so I don't fall behind, which is catastrophic to my wallet.
