The baby hatchin was funny, when you said Solonn and the othas was starin at the baby dumbfounded I instantly thought they was just like O_O O_O O_O all togetha
XD That’s pretty much the way I pictured that scene, too.
I laughed when Solonn wondered if Oth could have kids.
As did I. XD
When she said she was goin for 'that move' I thought she woulda used the explosion attack (but since I ain't play pokemon in a long *** time, I don't even know if Glalie's can learn explosion.) to kill herself...
Yep, they can learn explosion. And actually, I had thought of having her use explosion at one time but decided against it, mainly because I had previously had someone in The Origin of Storms
end a battle by using explosion, and I didn’t want these two scenarios to be too similar.
The fight scenes was incredible and gory, picturin the sound of Jeneth's bones bein crushed against the wall and seein his dyin expression with his eyes wide open was freaky.
Thanks. ^^ Though I’ve since actually had to edit the part about his eyes being open wide in terror when I looked back and realized, “Oh yeah, he was fully unconscious when he died, so he wouldn’t have noticed being smashed against the wall, and therefore his face wouldn’t have shown any reaction to that.” XD; So yeah, there’s another entry to the Blooper Hall of Fame, joining such classics as the two random moths and Solonn briefly being his own mother. XD
Anyway, the fixed version of that part is as follows:

One thing bothers me though... why can't Solonn avenge his mom? It's only the right thing to do. I'm guessin you don't wanna follow cliches or somethin?
Nah… admittingly, I actually couldn’t care less whether something is considered cliché. In fact, I don’t even believe in the concept of cliché; my belief is that any given piece of art should be judged solely by itself and not by what has been done elsewhere. I feel that refraining from doing something just because others have done it is essentially the same as doing something because everyone else is doing it—it’s still making creative decisions based on what others have done instead of being independent.
Thus I don’t have any problem with characters having a desire for vengeance and actually might have given Solonn such were it not for the fact that I didn’t really think it was in his character, especially given the circumstances—he’s really not an eye-for-an-eye type.
So yeah, I put that disclaimer of sorts there not out being concerned with clichés myself, but due to others’ potential concerns about them; I didn’t want to be tarred and feathered by someone assuming that I was commiting the “cliché” of a character spurred to seek revenge by the death of family members—especially given the fact that I’m not actually even doing that. XD
Of course, I imagine that there are some out there who would find cliché in the circumstances of this chapter anyway (having family members and especially a parent or parents of a character [especially the main character] will raise some folks’ cliché flags—heck, I’m sure some would cry cliché at character death, period, or even any form of tragedy in general). Ah, well. One can’t please everyone, after all.
