Is 4kids dubbing the 8th movie? I hope so, because I'm going to miss the voices badly by then.
"Master Ham"; fun-ee!
Gosh..all this talk about this episode being 4Kids last episode is kinda depressing. I'll miss all the VA's...Anyway, this episode was pretty good. The animation for Mach Punch was excellent, I mean I thought it would be a regular punch that's like a quick attack. Too bad, May's and Ash's battle didn't finish. It would be nice to see a winner but oh well.
May didn't even comment on the noodles. I think she liked it.
WHAT?! I am SO lost! Can someone please explain what everyone's saying about the voices?!?!?! Is Veronica Taylor leaving????? and what are VA's?
I only use all-out offensive moves in battle. If you're one of the people who doesn't waste time with stat moves, then copy and paste this into your signature.

Please don't overuse question marks. If you havn't been upto date for the past few months - this is the last episode with the current Voice Actors. Starting with Psychic VS Ghost! Midnight Duel!, new voices will replace all of the old ones.Originally Posted by Brocko18

This was 4Kids' final episode and I slept through and didn't even bother to record it! Shows how much I care about them. Besides, the 8th movie will be the final hurrah for the original voices.
Thank you for all the fantastic times, Serebii Forums!
It can't really get much more filler-like than this, but it's okay for the last episode with these VAs.
So are they still in Saffron City? If they are, I assume this fighting dojo represents the one that always stood next to the Saffron Gym in the games.
The lady that took over the dojo had that same old filler voice that her VA usually uses. Just as usual, it fits the character, yet its simply WAY over-used.
The young man's voice was also somewhat overused, too, but whatever.
I did like the old man's voice, though. And his personality was rich and interesting.
Hitmonchan sounded way too gruff and deep, compared to its old voice. Even Hitmonlee sounded a bit off. :/
At least 4Kids seemed to keep all the noodle talk fairly intact (as far as I can tell, anyway). Didn't see any food changed or chopsticks altered or anything like that.
Anyway, overall, seemed like a nice episode. Although I still haven't gotten over the fact that this is the 4Kids VAs' last episode. So long, guys, and thanks for your work. o_o;
I feel the same way, S.Suikun. I promised myself I would watch this episode, but I slept until 10:38 and said "Oh, forget it!" I didn't want to watch an incomplete episode. They will rerun it on Cartoon Network, right? This was 4Kids' final episode and I slept through and didn't even bother to record it! Shows how much I care about them.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION FOR SOMETHING ELSE...
At some point, maybe. CN may not have ordered Advanced battle though.
It'll reair tommorrow at some places at 8:00 am.
Ack, cartoon network must air advanced battle! I still haven't seen eppies out of it...
They probably will though, it would also hype up Season 9 in the fall.
They'd have to rush it if they wanted to air BF by October.
Boy, this looks like Depressistan!
Anyways, this episode was okay (not an episode I would choose to go out on but an okay one). Now I liked Master Ham...*snickers*...You know what, he sounded like James and Totosai (from InuYasha) mixed together. Quite funny if I do say so myself. Oh yes, and good to hear Hitmonlee (that voice was much better than the Hitmonlee I heard in the Raikou dubbed special).
Now, I would like to say a few words on behalf of 4Kids...
...You will be missed...somewhat!
100% fruit for 100% real fangirls
HASTA La Vista 4Kids....
Your voice actors will be missed. But we really don't care about the rest of you.
Am I only the one who you will miss the puns? To be honest, I enjoyed wondering what the next pun would be....
Also, Combusken VS Grovyle would've been VERY nice to see.... oh well. = (
The final ending is not a matter of whether we lived happily ever after,
But that we lived.
You know, it almost seems like 4Kids gave their last dubbed episode of Pokemon its name because they were leaving, too... or it could just be a coincidence.Originally Posted by Paperfairy

But are we sure yet that the puns will disappear from Pokemon along with 4Kids?
EIGHT AM TOMORROW?!? THAT'S INSANE! I go to church at that time(yes, I am a Catholic). It'll reair tommorrow at some places at 8:00 am

I think PUSA hinted at still using puns, or at least, they won't be direct translations of the Japanese titles.
