Well, if u put an close eye, my team have some great weaknesses:
-Ice attacks
-Fight Attacks
-no resistances against water

And some pokemon i have trouble to deal with:
-Snorlax
-Blissey
-Milotic
-Starmie
-at some times, Skarmory

I wold like to choose a new pokemon to switch on gengar, that could cover most of these weaknesses, and not being an OU one.... hard no?
Some changes on movesets of the other members may also help if u have an idea

In this case should i change trait for Swift Swim on Omastar i supose?

Rain Dance would warn even more to the non-defense agains water my team has, no?

What about ice Weakness, and Blissey? (it gives me nightmares)

hm, spo, WoW and HP grass over SD and SB, so, we leave the rain dance alone in omastar, right? But with Rain Dance and a high SP atk, does Omastar need Hydro Pump, over surf? i guess its a OHKO almost any non resistant Sp attack/water, no?

But do u think Omastar is suficiently tanker to do spikes?

I guess you're totaly right... but i cant find a special wall/tank to put on Gengar's Place, cause i dont like an OOOU like Blissey (i hate it), or any other known wall... but it would definitely be good against Starmie and ice attacks!

About RockSlide on Omastar, sometimes i get stuck with some special resistants like an Blissey, Alakazam, and rockslide is helpfull in this cases, but really i can find a better option on spikes or something else...

Sleep Talk over Twave? i just cant feel safe without TW on zapy, is it really superior to chestorest?

I got some ideas, see if u can helps with the choose and movesets, remembering that it would substitute Gengar and need to be a SP wall/tank:

Tentacruel: very good sp defense and i can boost it even more with EV/personality, but i dunno if ot can face starmie safely (psychic and thunderbolt)... also it would make another sludge bomb sweeper

Dusclops: Not an UU, but not so OU i guess. Excelent tank, but again, i dnno if it can stop Starmie

Wailord: High HP, but the defense craps... its high attack can get rid of starmie, but i dont know if it will last to do it, xD

At least the three of them are able to face ice attacks

Dusclops is just a bad Blissey if you're using it as a Sp.Wall. Starmie is one of the two Rapid Spinners that can actually hurt Dusclops, the other being Donphan.

You could use Regice or Snorlax, but that's about all there is off the top of my head. As for UU Sp.Walls, there's Grumpig, Clefable, and Hypno, but they're kinda limited in OU. I guess Registeel could do.

OK. Since this is NB, use HP:Grass>Drill Peck, as right now you have a bit of a Swampert weak. Since you don't have a Beller, you could use Light Screen>Rest on Zapdos, as ChestoRest isn't very good, being a one-time use, and then it's done. Use Leftovers.

And uh... why does Omastar have Shell Armor? It should have Swift swim if you're using RD.

Btw, next time use File -> Export to Text. That way you don't have to type it all out.

Yeah your EVs aren't much better as you're putting speed on Steelix and just using simple 252/252/6 spreads that could be changed around to be better.

The EV`s are important and i really don`t have good ideas to set up them.

Im thinking of follow u guys and pick up Regice or Registeel as a Special Wall, any ideas for personality, EVs and movesets for them to this job?

combine with blissey and celebi and you have an excellent spiker that is pretty durable for a pokemon that has a fighting and ground weak

blissey stops special attacks from raping it, celebi stops grasses/leech seeders

I just keep wondering, whats the meaning of Rest on Omastar? i guess its too slow to be able to rest when it really needs to, agree?
