Wasted my masterball on ditto in LG. Thought it was rare. I thought I was lucky when I ran into 5 more XD

releasing shiny chansey in leafgreen.*thinks*not saving after i completed the pokedex in platinum(gastriodons aren't cool for me anymore!they were cool because they go swamperts types!)throwing pokeballs at moltres(ran out and caught'em with the first great ball,loved great balls ever since).forgeting that fire killed ice when fighting articuno.and thats it,for now anyway.........

using a master ball in yellow, on a level 5 magikarp in yellow, and again or like a nidoran or something?

and going into the place where red is in silver, with weak pokemon. just because i rocked in the e4 didn't mean i was gonna own red. heh.

In Yellow, I didn't know about the Power plant and hadn't found Articuno in Seafoam so here I was, strolling along in Victory Road when I see something strange. It was the overworld bird sprite for Moltres. At the time, I didn't know this and I'd been playing for several hours without saving so I go up and press A. Battle, kill; nuf' said...

More recently, in Diamond, I was breeding for a female Combee so that I could have "caught" data for Vespiquen. After about 2 days (about 5 hours) of breeding, I finally hatched a female Combee. I was training it in battle, and then closed my DS to sleep for the night, in the morning my friend wanted to DS Download play this really cool he'd just got. I opened my DS; "Oops, I'm battle, hold on." I try (in vain) to quickly faint the opposition with my Combee. It didn't occur to me that my Staraptor could easily do the job. So, I just shut my game off - in battle. I hadn't saved the entire time that I had been breeding. Nooooo.... I realize after the screen goes blank. *Face->Palm*

Lol, I just remembered my first retarded mistake ever.

I purchased Pokemon Blue, I turn it on, wake up in my room. I then go downstairs and talk to my mother.. after that I realized that there was nothing else to do so I tried to leave the house. I literally walked around for 5-10 minutes wondering how the hell I'm suppose to get out. I even told my real mom the game sucks because they just have me trapped in a room with nothing to do.

Later I found out that the rug is where the doors are. LOL.

I got out. Lol.

The exact same thing happenned to me only it was for an impish phanpy with ice shard istead of a female combee

I used to believe this too. I would always keep my Pokemon unevolved until I absolutely needed to evolve them. Then I used gameshark in Red to start off with a Dratini and I wondered why it didn't grow a level when I defeated my rival.

start to play pkmn, its addictive and has taken half of my life away...

I caught Dialga in Diamond with my MASTER BALL.. All my pokemon except one had fainted, and I hadn't saved before I fought it. Then I saved after I caught it. Stupid me...
...and yet in platinum I've caught all the legendaries I can (not including event Shaymin and Arceus, of course) without using my master ball. I might use it on Arceus when the Azure Flute is given out, though..

got the johto starter on emerald (twas shiny too)
traded it for a weedle
then started emrald agian got a shiny mudkip traded that for magicarp

Basically Pokemon Ruby.

With only MD as experience, I thought it was ok to have only one Pokemon, even one who's weak against the type you're going against, and that Pound was the best move ever.

...Flannery, Drake, I hate you so much.

When I was little, I knew there was no Mew under the under the truck. Instead I thought it was on the other side of the SS. Anne.

I thought the game knew the difference between beating and catching Mewtwo, so I KO'd the one in Blue, expecting Professor Oak to appear and award me or something. Luckily this was after I trained my Yellow Mewtwo to Level 100.

I thought I could recatch my starter later in the game when I first played Silver, so I released my Quilava.. I also released my Yellow Pikachu, but luckily I didn't save that because my Gameboy died.

I didn't know I couldn't catch legends after beating them, so I beat them in Silver... And Crystal.

At one point I thought my Level 100 Dragonite was the best Pokemon ever...She knew Snore, Surf, Waterfall, and Toxic. Her Attack was far better than her Special Attack.
Once I trained my Mewtwo to that level, I thought they were both the strongest Pokemon ever. He knew Psychic, Fire Blast, Blizzard, and Thunder. At least he was somewhat accurate.

I thought the games and anime were based on the manga.

I trained a Sunkern to level 77. I plan on doing it again.

I never understood why I almost always lost the Bug Catching Competition. I usually caught Kakuna and always kept the Pokemon that had the most HP.

I used my Crystal Masterball on a Teddiursa.

I thought you could do the Celebi event in US Crystal, since I thought the Communication Center was the Goldenrod Radio Tower.

I tried to finish the Pokedex in Silver.

I trained for the Silver E4 by battling them.

I thought Red was Ash... And trained to beat him by battling him.

I found latias in my sapphire and immediately started hunting her. I found her and sent my lvl 72 crobat out, the weakest in my current party, and mean looked it. Then I used poison fang; OHKO. I turned off my game because I had defeated it and realised I hadn't saved after finding it...
