Colosseum or XD which did you prefer?

Colosseum. The amount of Shadow pokemon in XD is HUGE. And I like Ho-Oh more than Lugia. The story in Colosseum is far better than in XD. EDIT: Oh,and Wes is soo cute... <33

XD. Just because it gave you the option of catching non-shadow pkmn to beef-up your party. Although there wern't that many wild pknm to be caught, post story I think you could find maybe 12 different species across 3 pokespots. :P

I like XD more, but Colosseum is also good!

One dissapointing thing with Colosseum is how you save, and another thing is that it takes long to purify pokemon...

XD is longer, so I think it's better...

The poor selection of shadow pokemon in Colo means I have pretty much the same team each time.

Colloseum's story line was waaaay better than XD but XD's controls and pokemon were better.

I prefer XD. I liked all the different things you can do and I really liked the selection of Shadow Pokemon. I did like some of the Colosseum Pokemon better. I did have XD first so maybe I'm a bit Biased.

Colossuem for me, Well I had XD first, but I liked Colossuem so much better because of the 2 starters, storyline, and the character in my opinion was WAAAY better than that red head kid. Like in the beginning the Colo character (I forget his name) blows up the snagem base, in XD your character didn't blow anything up, the most you did was look for Jovi!!! I HATED THAT KID, "Jovi help (insert name here) find machine part" "Jovi do this, Jovi do that, JOVI JOVI JOVI!"....Oi. On Colossuem you have a some kind of motorcycle ride but in XD you get a scooter!? WTH. XD did have more pokemon but Colo had good pokemon also, like the Johto starters, you could only get 2 I believe but you could always do it over, on XD you have to beat 100 trainers! then you choose 1! Then if you'd like the others you have to do it over! So basically 300 trainers for the Johto starters. They did have the elemental hyper beams, but that still isnt worth it for me, in Colosseum you did 100 battles for something that was worth it! Ho-oh! I don't like it as much as Lugia but it was still worth it! So ya, i'm done ranting. Colosseum for me.

Well, they are both great games. It's hard for me to pick which one is better.

I prefered XD for a number of reasons.

1. Lugia. enough said.
2. More shadow pokemon
3. Longer storyline
4. More depth for shadow pokemon i.e: More Shadow moves, Reverse mode changes, etc.
5. Moves unique to former shadow pokemon, like giving the legendary birds extrasensory, or a few lucky ones heal bell, etc.
6. I could choose my eeveelution (of course i still chose espeon every time but still...)
7. Broader range of levels. You start out weaker, and end up around the same caliber as in colosseum.

And that's all that currently comes to mind.

EcksDee, Mostly for Lugia and Xatu. I didn't get far though, I got bored with it.

I liked XD, Purifying is so much easier. Plus, XD gives pokemon moves they normally wouldnt have. Zapdos With Extrasensory

Colloseum had the better Vs mode. on XD you can only battle with your gameboy if you ACTUALLY had someone to play with, which was ridiculous.

XD has the better story mode. also better graphics. and saving was more simple and purification.

I liked colosseum alot better then XD I know that XD had some better features like trainers having more than one shadow pokemon and multiple shadow moves but I think colosseum's story was much better and much darker than XD's.
