Another thing probably best for the wii is to become a gym leader, assemble a mono type team, customize your gym (fill it with traps, mazes, ect) and gym badge. You could take your gym online, and have people go through it and battle you for your badge (or just regular wi-fi battle)

I thought online play was already dismissed about four times over.

On a lighter note, to improve the pokepedia ideal it could explain the relation to real animals as a way to introduce educational facts so that the younger's dont become mindless drones as stated by BCVM pointed out ealier. And the game documentary is still a great idea though i can't pass that we'd most likely see/hear overlapping american vocals from the japanese informants.

Not really. If they were going to start a new branch of the franchise - which there's no indication of any sort that they will - one would think they'd do it with something just a bit more viable than a line of t-shirts only available in one country, hm?

Negative. Every idea posted in this thread you've welcomed with a shoot down, throwing it out the window without even considering it. Very narrow minded. If you don't like the idea of Pokemon expanding or it scares you for some odd reason, say that and don't reiterate every time someone posts an idea to add to the conversation.

This gym leader idea I like. Maybe work your way up from the first gym leader to the top of the E4? Choose your type, migrate eggs from the normal game. Could be a pretty neat idea.

Online play I don't know about, but such a thing was created, who's to say it wouldn't be wi-fiable?

I think pokemon will be expanding. Look at the pokewalker. I read an interview recently where they said they were looking into other ways to go beyond simply a cartridge in your DS.

The trainers could really use some overhaul. For instance, the dialogue spoken by the trainers in the current games need some pop-culture nods and in-jokes. They're always just like "blah blah blah Pokémon powerful blah blah battle you!". And how about making their teams more diverse? A Bug Catcher, for instance, should use something like the following party:
Combee Level 10
Yanma Level 9
Burmy Level 12
Butterfree Level 12

Instead, in D/P/Pt, you'll most likely see something like this:
Combee Level 10
Combee Level 10
Combee Level 10
