Well, it seemed like in Japan, NEP and Arceus were released around the same time. So, I thought now that the name was announced, that the event would be announced soon. But I suppose that's not necessarily true. I guess I got too excited. Oh well.

In the other games, not all evolutions could be cancelled by hitting B, but these are ones you've got to start Manually, such as the Stones.

i never could in my patinum i thought maybe they took that option out or something to make players use and need the everstone

I don't think you can stop evolutions by pressing B during trades.

Maybe this HGSS problem is similar.

In the 4th gen you have to rapidly press B. For some reason holding it no longer prevents evolution.

Ah lol I don't think I've ever held the B button to cancel an evolution before lol >_< I've always constantly tapped B until it stops haha XD No wonder it worked for me

Yeah. as soon as it says " WHAT!? ____ Is evolving!" I just rapidly press B. I had to look this up to find it out. cause holding B wasn't working for me.

That's what I do. I think all you have to do is press B once after the evolution has started. But I always press B several times, just cuz I'm an over-achiever like that.

So there is a difference between just holding B down and pressing it rapidly? Ugh this is confusing.

You have to press B once, after the glowing animation starts.

If you start holding down B during the "What? ___ is evolving!", it won't stop.

When it starts "evolving" I've accidently pressed B and it still stops evolution in the DPPt series.

It is more Spiky than Notched. One could also say that it is more Jagged than it is Notched.

I always preferred Cowlick Pichu... Spiky sounds like she could stab you with her ear, and Notched sounds like someone carved it out with wood. Isn't it a cowlick / ruffle anyways? From time-hopping =P
