what is the hardest pokemon to catch in FRLG?

Chansey. It can only be found in the Safari Zone, which means you can't send out any Pokemon to put it in status problems or lower its HP, not to mention it may flee.

I haven't really tried to catch chansey ever, but Zapdos is also really hard, it's by far the hardest of the three birds. Maybe that's just b/c at least in my last save, I attempted it last (?)

A! I spent almost 3 years trying to get chansey! (Thank god for diamond/pearl!) It only took me 78 pokeballs to catch mewto... but I can't get the chansey!

^suicine is incredibly easy to get...chanseys is the hardest probably bc it run right after you throw a poke ball

If you still have a Masterball it is pretty easy to find/catch the legendary dogs. Since they are level 50 fill your party with pokemon under level 50, buy a bunch of repels and go to a route where there aren't any pokemon above level 50 (Like Route 1). Use a repel and start walking around in the grass. If you do not find any pokemon leave the route and return. Repeat this until you get in battle with the legendary dog. When you get in battle simply use the Masterball to catch it. (Repels only repel pokemon with lower levels than the highest level pokemon in your party, for anyone who didn't know. Thats why this works.)

I would have to say Chansey is the hardest to catch, I can never find it. :/

But got over it when I finally got it and later was a bit mad when I found out that there was a shadow chansey in XD so that was kind of a waste of time =(
Though it was a bit hard to catch the shadow form, it didn't run away =P

ummm.. i dunno. I don't really have probs with Chansey I have 10 of them and soon more (stupid lucky egg >.>) I caught Mewtwo with ultra ball... but I'd prolly have to say Legendary Dog. It takes forever to find and then flees and takes forever again (hehe I saved my master ball for Entei)

Safari Zone:
Its based on my luck in there.I usually am able to catch one rare from there every time it shows up(mainly tauros).

To Find:
Mine is the legendary dogs. I once found Enti and it disapeared after I found it and I couldn't find it again.

A: Since Chansey is very rare, catching it will be tough too. I saw it b4 but failed when catching.
B: Not Really hard since u can save, but don use masterball or C will be epic failed
C: Depends on luck..

Overall: i chose A because u Can only use Balls, Bait it or Throw a stone on it...

Have tried catching Chansey, but was never really interested much.
Never bothered with the dogs, nor have I actually met one in LG.

I'll pick Mewtwo seeing as how it can be annoying to catch, but Articuno is also up there for me.
