I found something very strange...
In episode 374-The-Scuffle-Of-Legends Ash's clothes was for a moment his Sinnoh clothes, i think, or very similar to them. Altough they possibly did not know yet how his future Sinnoh clothes looks, and it was also a one-time anime director. I know it can be an error, but maybe it was a hint for Ash's future clothes in Sinnoh?

His Hoenn clothes should be like that:

Looks more like a drawing error then a coloring one. It was just a really bad / awkward angle on Ash that made the blue part of his jacket not show. Either that or they drew the green stripes too thick.

It's unlikely that was for Sinnoh. The anime directors only work about a year or so ahead. Since this was in the middle of Hoenn they may have been working on the Battle Frontier if anything beyond Hoenn. To add to that the " Hints " that the writers drop are usually much more obvious when they drop them. Not everyone has the patience to comb over every frame with a fine tooth comb to pick up a nod.

I agree it's just the way ash is postioned in the shot which covers up the blue area

Also the scene is quite busy so it would have been easy for them to make a small mistake

Yes but It's just like his Sinnoh Clothes, except for the White color that little more thick, and little more down. Also After the white there is a green color, that looks like his bag from Sinnoh (In Hoenn we never see his bag on his shoulder because the white color hide it), and after the green color we see the black color. This is not weird?

It's just the shot, the shot is covering up the blue, leaving just the white and black.

Yes but friends - it's looks exactly like his Sinnoh clothes, why people try to escape from that, I don't understand....

ok look....as much as i think the pokemon writers are genius for keeping this show alive for the past 10+ years (and i really do)
i doubt they will give this "clue" for the next seasons....they might do it more obvious like the time they made Meowth say something like "won't diamonds and pearls be a good name for a show?"
if u look closely u can see they just drew his backpack straps just next to his white collar and they forgot the whole blue thing.....nothing more.
really..../:

Sorry but I still not believe it's an error. The black color is not suppose to be there. it's supposed to be in the edge. And what about the green? it's also does not suppose to be there. it's probably the bag of the Sinnoh clothes.

"The Scuffle of Legends" was one of the most horribly animated episodes of the entire series. If I recall, in one shot Kyogre was missing its blue spots. So congrats, you found yet another error in a visual wreck of an episode. The writers are not that subtle with foreshadowing, sheesh, especially over two years prior to a saga.

Your making a big deal over nothing. It's called angle and possible color error. Simple as that. No Sinnoh in mind.

Don't forget in "Judgement Day" which was the only other episode that animation team did, they drew May without her shorts for one scene. Essentially May was standing in her tiny white skirt (?) without anything on underneath.

Far more tiny than Dawn's skirt ever was.

Question-how many ways have we seen Riolu/Lucario use their "aura"?

Edit: Thank you, An00bis!

Kind of complex to answer but I'll do it to the best of my ability.

- All of the Lucario and Riolu we've seen so far could use Aura to some extent.

- Maylene's Lucario used Aura to find a Pokemon hiding underground.

- The " wild " Riolu we saw in the Ranger Special could use it to project Memories / Feelings / and Location.

- Riley and his Lucario used Aura to contain an explosion of Iron Island.

- Aura is used to activate the " Time Flowers " in Movie 8.

- Apparently human Aura Users have roughly the same powers as Riolu / Lucario. Ash also used his Aura to find a hiding Pokemon at the end of the Ranger Special. Aura Users both Human and Pokemon can communicate with one another using their Aura.

Quick question, did Harley and Drew ever battle each other during their time on the show? I'm fairly certain they didn't, but I could be wrong.

They did not.

Does anyone remember the last time a cold open intro was used? I forgot all about those until I saw mention of it on Bulbapedia.

hello guys and gals,

I'm looking for the episodes that starts with Pikachu and Piplup walking over a path (before the humans) singing their song like:

Piplup piplup piplup piiiiiiiiiplup
pika pika pikachuuuu

and so on, then piplup kind of tumbling down from hunger and then i don't know what happens.

I believe the episode you are referring to is titled "Crossing Paths"
