Hello. I am making this announcement today to inform everyone today that THIS FORUM SUCKS MONKEY BALLS.

[tl;dr version below]

I have been a member of this forum since September of 2004, and have been a staff here since January of 2005. In fact, I would say that today is exactly 4 years to the day since I first asked to be modded and got it, ironically enough.

This place was actually fun for a while, believe it or not. I have met a lot of good people here. Modding wasn't so bad when there weren't as many people here and the forum didn't CONSTANTLY, and I mean, CONSTANTLY lag. SPPf is just too big for its own good.

But now this place mostly just sucks monkey fuck. I'd rather have a buffalo take a diarrhea dump in my ear than go here. (thank you AVGN). It lags whenever you try to do anything. It takes up to 30 minutes just to finish giving out one infraction. And there are a lot of infractions to give out. Not just because of all the idiots. The rules themselves are stupid too. They are the most needlessly complicated, most convoluted rules out of any place I have ever been to. The wrong people get banned for life, and the right people who deserve to be banned for life get to come back. Or they just make alts and further pollute this cespool with their stupidity, and get worshipped by other idiot members.

This forum treats hacking and using Action Replay like it's murder. It's so dumb. I don't give a flying fuck if you want to discuss it on these forums. You should be able to. It's not like using Pokesav is a crime punishable by death. But no, you can barely mention it without being infracted.

Also the trade forums absolutely suck donkey dick, and there are two people to blame for this: Erik Destler and Joe. "Ohnoes, you're gonna get scammed! Let's ban the Pokemon people want the most from being traded!" Never mind that most people with two brain cells and even a little bit of Pokemon knowledge can tell if they're being scammed. Why should the fact that a few people will be stupid enough to get a fake stop everyone else from being able to trade Shaymins, Darkrais, or even Arceus if they don't give a fuck if it's legit or not? When the announcement that Shaymin would be banned was made, I posted on there explaining how stupid that was. People actually listened to my reasoning and unbanned it for a couple days. But then Erik whined about it and it was banned again. And then he IMs me and says "I'm the boss of the trade forums, blah blah blah, Joe agrees with me, so it's gonna stay banned, too bad." In short, you should be allowed to trade whatever you want. Everywhere else is like that. Everywhere else is also better.

The CRMT 4th gen forum sucks balls here. And ironically enough it's the ones who complain about it that make it suck so much balls. The ones who make posts and whine about it and then get banned. I don't want to babysit the twats who make multiple alts, turn practically every thread into a spamhole, and blame the mods for it when they're the ones who run around and troll. Well no fucking shit there's gonna be people who are bad at Pokemon. That's why they want advice you dipshits. If you like Smogon better, well then GO TO FUCKING SMOGON YOU FUCKING TWATS.

The sig rules here are the most convoluted sig rules I have encountered on any forum. Ever. I should know. I've helped to enforce them for years. Everywhere else it's either "you can only have one thing in your sig, period." or "you can have whatever the hell you want as long as it's within reason." That's the way it should be. Do you honestly expect a 12 year old to remember all those dumb rules, like 'your sig can only have three outside images that have to be 40000 pixels or under, two if they're both banners and they have to be 46800 pixels and above 40000 pixels in area to count as a banner, but if you have two images you can only have one banner, and unlimited forum images' or 'your sig can't be more than 420 pixels tall'. Anyone who knows anything about computers can tell you that different monitors have different resolutions, and sigs are different heights on different screens. SO to make sure to not break this rule, you have to have some kind of ruler that measures in pixels. And of course you have to have the same resolution on your monitor as the staff member that is measuring your sig. Oh, and those are everywhere, right? I'm fuckin drowning in them!

And if you make a post anywhere that needs approval by a mod before it's posted... well, good luck getting it through. Consider yourself lucky if you see your thread. I remember when I approved the clubs, I actually went through them every day for a while. Then I got tired of it, and got a life. So I couldn't do it every day. And no one helped me. And the thing is, I don't blame mods for not wanting to do it. It's the fun equivalent of shoving a porcupine up your ass. Half the time people don't read the rules, some of which are dumb or arbitrary, some of which are necessary and the members are retards for not following them. And the mods have to sort through all the stupidity. And it has to be done every day or it'll pile up. Oh, and whenever anyone tries, the forum LAGS and it doesn't go through.

Joe is too full of himself to listen to any mod's suggestions. The mods are the ones actually working the forums. Joe just does... whatever. But he sure as hell isn't there with the mods having to deal with all the stupidity, so maybe when a mod says something, he should listen? Oh and when a member is banned for being an idiot, Joe sometimes unbans them. Probably when they or their parents whined to him. Yes, the parents of little kids complain when a mod bans little Joey for being a dumbass. Does he ever ask why the person was banned? Nooo, he just unbans him. And all he ever cares about is how many hits this site gets. When the battle forums become spammed up with dumb clans, and the mods want them banned, Joe is like "well the members will be unhappy!" And why do we still have both Clubs and User Groups when they're both essentially the same thing? Well, because it keeps the nubs happy, of course! And Joe wants the nubs happy, the mods don't matter. And whenever anyone tries to quit, Joe is like "you can't leave!" and REFUSES to demod them no matter if they're inactive for months. Jess tries to demod them but Joe is like, "NO WAIT don't do it!" (Thank you Jess for actually removing the inactive people.)

And the staff members. A lot of you are actually cool. A lot of you are still my friends, and I've helped some of you become staff members too. Although I probably shouldn't have because it sucks balls here and isn't worth the time of day. But some of you are douches. Namely Erik Destler. Erik, if you are reading this, and you probably will at some point... fuck you dude. Just fuck you. You are so transparent. All you want is power. You had the BALLS to IM me, especially when you haven't even MET me, and ask me to recommend you for promotion instead of Psychic and why I don't recommend you for promotion. The answer as to why I didn't recommend you is that you are a power hungry douchebag who tries to control everyone like a Nazi. I'm not the only one who thinks of you as an asshole, everyone else is just too scared to speak out. Oh, and I am the one who told Jess about that. You try to completely control every forum you're in, and even the ones you don't. You always have to be the one to post every announcement, and make other people edit their announcements just to wish you a happy birthday. You are the one who has to make all the rules, and tell the other staff members "I hate being undermined" in PM. Because you can't handle being wrong. The sad thing is I bet you don't even realize that we're all on to you, and how you kiss Joe's ass and suck his dick (and I bet you would in real life, too).

And I'm just gonna come out and say this. Josh, I don't agree with the way you mod. Being a douche all the time may be entertaining but it isn't the way to mod, and causes lots more problems than it's worth. If you genuinely don't give a fuck about this place, then you should leave too. But hey, after this I won't be here either. So I don't care what you do.
