Me too. Locking people up for years of prison to eventually get raped by other inmates or die eventually isn't something that i'd like to do evreyday.

Seriously is two years is too much jail time for a felony, then any jail time, or any kind of mark towards a criminal record for shoplifting under $200 is too much, repeat offender or not.
Yeah, I think you either don't know or is avoiding the actual felony. According to my sources, he got 2 years for hosting dog fights in his house. Not by rape, homicide, drug use, possesion of drugs, assult, or steriod use, but HOSTING dog fights.

Seriosuly, im not really sure if he was hosting them, or actually getting them killed, but im going to look it up right now to confirm my statement.

The Skarm: He killed the dogs that he thought weren't fighting as well as he wanted or the ones he thought didn't do it with passion.

Hmm, you prove a good point. I guess he do deserve some jail time.

But like I said, it's a bit too much!

Hosting dog fights is a felony in most states though. And yes he was also killing them.

Not only that, but a lot of dog fighters steal family pets that are left outside, and throw them into the fighting pit with muzzles on just to train their fighting dogs. Know this due to a segment that was on Real Sports last year. They talked to a dog owner, who said they do these things. He also said how he isn't cruel to the dogs that can't fight, because he just takes them out to the woodshed and shoots them, while most of the other dog owners drown them, electrocute them, hang them, etc.

Another great story:

Rich Rod-leave-us leaves(ironic) job at WVU.

The day after WVU(#6) lost to Pittsburgh, Rich announced that he was quitting WVU's head coaching job. This was actaully announced to the players before the Pitt-WV game, so perhaps the players threw the game to make Rich look bad?

Ironically enough(there's More?), the night he was hoping for a WVU loss to Oklahoma(as if), he was watching the game when his whole family saw in tiny white letter's on the bottom of the screen.

West Virginia files 4 million dollar suit against Rich Rodriguez for contract violation.

If that wasn't great enough, he was with his wife and kids when he saw the message.

Even better, he claims that WVU is "childish and immature" for going through with the suit. For a contract he signed. And broke.

Who is being childish? You decide.

Yep, that's true. I got no comment on that.

Also true, but there's no proof on Micheal Vick that he stole dogs from others for his ways, and since this discussion is on Micheal Vick it doesn't really matter.

Yes all sad, but does this involve Micheal Vick? If it does, please ignore this statement.

Well... yeah, it does. What do you think Michael Vick and his cohorts did with the dogs that lost fights or became too injured to fight? They certainly didn't give the dog a bowl of water, a treat and a nice, soft pillow to rest on, eh?

Yes, it's illegal through the entire North American continent and a felony in 48 states. Not just participating, but attending. To say that it's "wrong" is a factual statement, regardless of one's opinion.

Default Hawaiian hangup.

41-10

Thats what the scoreboard read as Georgia finished off undefeated Hawaii. Perhaps the Warriors shoulda took a leaf from the book(of play) called Boise State as the Warriors were outsized by UGA.

No s**t. Im fully aware of that. But still, too long if in my opinion.

I also heard his sentence is being reduced. Can anyone confirm this? If not, i'll do it myself.

Another joke. Seattle 20, Green Bay 42. What the hell Seattle...

I was thinking...man, has this been a crazy year in sports all around. Therefore, I decided to compile a Top 10 list of the Biggest jokes in 2007. Yeah, yeah, there may be more but these are my ten biggest flops this year:

10. “PUCK-er up”- The NHL is back, again, and for a full season. Who won the Stanley Cup? Who cares? The only reason I can answer that question is because of Disney...Quack Quack Quack. Seriously, people, when a Team from Southern California can win the Stanley Cup, and a team from Atlanta win their division, it becomes obvious that no one cares about the NHL. Come on...just name three hockey players...and no...Wayne Gretzky does not count any more.

9. “Rock Bottom”- The hottest team in the MLB to close the season was the Colorado Rockies. Sadly, this team was the worst team that entered into the playoffs. Their batting average was lower, and their pitching was sub mediocre. However, they found their way in, swept the NL Playoffs. Then got were humiliated by the Boston Red Sox. Was the American League that much more dominate than the National League? No. The National League just got misrepresented by a choke sorry contender.

8. “Team Tebow”- The 2007 NCAA Football season was summarized by declaring Tim Tebow of Florida the winner of the Heisman Trophy. Tebow became the first Sophmore to ever win the award. Yes, Tebow had the most touchdowns by a Quarterback in history, but he was a one-man show. If he had had a real team around him, then he would not have had to throw and rush for all those Touchdowns. McFadden is the BEST talent on the college level today, and they voted him Runner up two seasons in a row. Even Colt Brennan deserved the Heisman over Tebow.

7. “Dog Gone It”- Michael Vick was sentenced today to 23 months in jail. What an idiot. The superstar quarterback was indicted for dog fighting earlier in the year. How could you really do something like that, then get busted, and the lie about what you did? Michael Vick is an idiot. He ruined the NFL, he ruined Virginia Tech, and he ruined the Atlanta Falcons who are currently 3-9. When he gets out in the year 2009, he will never be welcomed in Atlanta again. I mean, come on, fighting dogs. Couldn't you just bet on football?

6. “Picking Buckeyes”- In 2007, the College world saw the Florida Gators win the National Title in both Football and Basketball. Each were blow outs of the higher ranked Ohio State. In each game, the Buckeyes were projected to win and got blown out of the water by the boys in blue. How do you lose both of these games? I mean, couldn't they keep it close? No, they could not. It goes to show that even the best team in the Big Ten will get beat by someone else at any time. Ohio State gets another shot at the SEC this year; however, neither team should have gone losing in the last two weeks of the regular season. But that is a different joke...

5. “Solo'd out”- Hope Solo, goalkeeper for the USA Women's World Cup soccer team, was benched during the Semi Final match-up against Brazil. Solo had not been scored on during the entire tournament. Why would you bench a goalie that had not been scored on all tournaments? Because the old, washed up goalie you had had done well against Brazil in the past? Well, you lost that game. And you got third in the World Cup. Oh yeah...that guy lost his job after that. Nice call coach!

4. “Best Record”- Marty Schottenheimer coached the San Diego Chargers to an NFL best 14-2 record. He failed to beat the Dynasty that is New England in the playoffs, and the San Diego Chargers fired him. How do you fire a coach who leads you to the best record in the NFL? Do you fire the coach of the team who loses the Super Bowl? No. Look at the Chargers now. They are struggling. Marty, you did a great job. In addition, you were fired for doing something 13 other coaches have done this season; lose to Tom Brady and the Patriots. Shouldn't they be fired too?

3. “Beached”- The Miami Dolphins are currently 0-13, and with three games to play, it looks imminent that the Fish will go 0-16. Could any team be better, or worse that them. They score points, have great players, but they just can't win. This team plays so sloppy that even some of the premier college teams could beat this team. As bad as their defense is, I think Colt Brennan could lead Hawaii to a win over this sorry excuse of a professional football team. Even the Raiders won two games last year.

2. “Surprise Surprise”- As the Mitchell Report struck the nation of alleged dopers in the Major Leagues, America can’t help but ask, “how did we not see this?” Roger Clemens went from good to better to better to old. And then came back and still performed well. However, in the world of doping no one suspects the pitchers. His buddy Andy Pettite was ousted as well. Deny all you want you guys, but having your name on that list will make everyone skeptics. As for other ousted, Barry Bonds, Gary Sheffield, Paul Lo Duca, Eric Gagne, Miguel Tejeda, David Justice, and numerous others. So, can we ever watch baseball the same, or will it be haunted by the Mitchell report for the rest of our lives?

1. “Bowl Chaos Series”- The biggest joke of the 2007 year, was none other than the BCS. The BCS saw double digit Top 5 teams lose to unranked teams this season, and had to settle with a one loss Big Ten Champion and a two loss SEC Champion to play for the National Title. In addition, numerous teams who felt they should play for a title and others failed to even earn a BCS Bowl game. The BSC also was scrutinized for its shady rankings at the end of the season, when the Number 6 and 9 ranked teams jumped to two and four respectively. The BCS just sums up the crazy year that was 2007.

2007 was an insane year in sports, and I expect 2008 to be no different. Just a couple of things to look for:
The Boston Celtics dominating the NBA East, but still losing to the West.
New England Patriots going 19-0. ( The Dolphins going 0-16)
Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers battling it out for the American League Championship.
No one will watch the Stanley Cup.
The 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Whether or not they void the retarded BCS system for some sort of Playoff.

2008 looks to be an interesting year. Respond to this if you found it entertaining!!!
