Well..what do u think of the new series that is to air on October 6th 2004 on TV TOKYO...

I think is ok...

As i don't get easily convinced of animes...as i am hoping it is good, as there should be one good monster like a main...like in Yu-Gi-Oh, Yugi the main character had The Dark Magician, this kid should have some thing good, as his monster look cool...but i want to know there names...

WHO IS THE GUYS MAIN MONSTER...and is ther girl a main character too...

First, it's Duel Monsters, not Duel Master.

Anyways, The main character's name is Yuuki Juudai, Juudai being his given name. His signature monster is, I believe, Sparkman. He also uses Flame Wingman, Hane Kuribo, and Thunder Giant. He plays an Elemental Hero Deck. The girl's name is Asuka. I think she's a main character too, because she obviously resembles Kaiba. Her uses a Cyber & Sporty Girl Deck. Her signature monster is Burst Lady.

Now, I'm really looking forward to GX, although I am gonna miss the original story and characters, it just wouldn't be the same without them. It's strange, I think they actually used Kaiba's Duel Disks in the movie previewm, but they later use this weird freakish duel disk that looks less smoother and nicer.

Yea..same here...i will miss it...as i hope they still use those old monsters...like i don't want to see DARK MAGACIAN go bye-bye...it's just to sad...and i hope we see Yugi again too...

Yuuki Juudai, the leading character, enters the high school "Duel Academia" which was established by Kaiba. It trains future game designers and duelists. They are educated to make elites, though incompetent students are discriminated against. Juudai is forced into the "Dorm of left-behinders" in the sircumstance. But he actually has the unique and amazing ability.

Duel at the boarding school of strict abilityism !!

Duel Academia
High School located in a solitary island. Students are divided into three dormitories according to their educational accomplishments.

Obelisk Blue
Excellent dorm of elites
Only bright students are allowed to join. Many of them are from the attached Junior High where they were highly educated. There are some annoying guys who boast about being an elite here.

クロノス
Chronos
The provost as well as the professor of practical duel, but is so merciless that expels the students at-risk.


丸藤　亮
Marufuji Ryou
Top student who is called "Illusionaly duelist Kaiser" in the school
Marufuji Shou is his younger brother.

万丈目　準
Manjoume(Banjoume)* Jun
Third son of the famous Manjoume family.
He also is the shadow leader of the super elite team whose goal is to eliminate the students who got the bad record at school.

天上院　明日香
Tenjouin Asuka
Regarded as Queen in the girls dorm, though being a freshman. She is from the attached Junior High, but feels contempt for the people who take pride in it.

Ra Yellow
Where the future experts are assembled
Ranked as a No.2 in the dorms. It consists of those who aim for being raised to Obelisk Blue.

三沢　大地
Misawa Daichi
Smartest student in the newly entered freshmen.
His duel is theoritical and accurate.

Osiris Red
Dorm of the left-behinders?!
Dorm of the lowest rank. Some of them actually have a capacity but cannot display it for some reasons. They are in the hardships under elitism.

Yuuki Juudai
He has the ability to hear the voice of spirits. Though his report of dueling accomplishments is not good, he is strong in the practical duels.

Marufuji Shou
Juudai's room mate who is too soft to show his talent.
Brotherhood with his older brother, Marufuji Ryou, is almost broken.

i new a few of the info u said...but the other like info on the students, and Kaiba running it is cool...

SO...i guess we might still see Kaiba, Mokuba, Yugi, Joey, Tea, Tristian...RIGHT? but not as main characters...

oh...and when u do get pics...if u do...can you by any chance just post a pic of the FUTURE KAIBA AND YUGI...if u can...

These new disk are bad looking I like the other 1 better. If you look at the link I posted earlier that kid is suppose to be the main character named Yuuki I'll post some spoilers when I get more info.

It's nice to see that Kaiba still holds a grudge. Notice how Obelisk is his God Card and Osiris is Yugi's.

I think it will be good, but i'll miss yugi and the gang, he's only gonna be there for one episode. And the duel disks do need work, but I think the rest will be great.

Humm....... The new Yugioh season called: Yugioh GX. Far more different from the past series but could this actually be realted to the old series somehow?? If you look at its name : Yuugioh Next Generation, now What is a generation?? IN what generation are you in?? I think this series is going to happen a little later in time than the original series, where its about the characters children or grandchildren.


But I still expect this seires to be good what so ever...... Who knows what could happen?! 8D

Yea..u right...it should be good...as we did hear that Kaiba is running the academy school...

and Yugi comes in the 1st episode give the main character a Duel Monsters Card...which is the Key Card in the first episode...and i bet his key of winning the DUEL...

But the sentimental part (the part that always gets in my way) misses Yami (NOT YUGI MOTO) because Yami reminds me of....of...of someone really special to me.............ME! He's got style... Who said Kaiba runs away...

Kaiba is running a School...for Duelist...but i bet he might not be seen there as it is on an island...he might be in his Kaiba Corp. place...

As i guess Yugi will be seen just that once in the beginning and maybe once in a while in the Series...and other ppl might appear but not like for real...maybe just a story telling like of Yugi, Joey, Kaiba, and other good DUELIST...

"Duelist Type" is a description of the character's gameplay style, but the Japanese print is too small and the text too extensive for me to translate at this time.

Two other Monsters have been shown as preliminary sketches: Sparkman, associated with Jyudai, and Burst Lady, associated with Asuka.

There'll a more streamlined and glitzier Duel Disk introduced in this series, but in his initial appearances Jyudai will still be using the Battle City model.
