The highlight of the Twinleaf festival is Professor Oak's Pokémon Course! However, James from Team Rocket disguises himself as Professor Oak and comes on stage instead of the real one...?!

Remember when Croagunk dressed up as a Politoed back in that old ep where he won Happiny's egg? Good times.

Maybe Politoed is Saturn's and he ditched Toxicroak for it!

Or, it may just be some random Pokemon. Maybe a gift from the Team Rocket Delibird? Maybe it gets mixed up again and gives James the Pokemon meant for Botch, or Hutch, or Biff, or Chuck or whatever his name is. :P

True to what's it's done before, DP is now rehashing a plot that has been done before, not like it's anything bad. But the summary sounds like "Will the Real Professor Oak Stand Up?" or something like that from Johto. I never saw the episode, but it'd be interesting to see this one anyway.

Wow these Twinleaf Town episodes seems interesting! . But this epispde I can call it:Will the Real Oak Please Stand up v.2. And on the side note we see Brock's Croagunk battling a Super Sized Politoed 0__0??. oh well at least Brock's Pokemon are getting screentime . But seriously what more surpises can these Twinleaf episodes can bring, please Misty don't appear in here or I will kill the writters

From what I recall, Oak was part of some talk show with DJ Mary and he dueled with "Imposter Oak" (James) over trivia and haikus. For an oddly familiar plot, hopefully this can be like the PokeRinger episode and be different enough to where it's enjoyable, and hopefully Brock will be used well here.

Sounds like that episode. But it didn't take place in Goldenrod City, like it should have been. It would have been more accurate. Ah well, at least it was referenced.

When's the last time James impersonated someone anyway? Since Norman during the Hoenn League Championships?

This is a Twinleaf town arc, the scans only show Delia, Oak, and Dawn's mother. No Misty.

As for this Politoed, James is probably using it from the sounds of the title.

As for me, I wouldn't mind to see Misty, but geez...why now? I mean, we already have Oak, Delia, Johanna, AND possibly Palmer/Barry.

I would love for this to be Misty, but I know we won't see her until we get back to Pallet Town. I may be a Misty fan, but I still have common sense limits that others seem not to.

Guys, its a Politoed. There is no Misty. Her VA is not in the summary, her character is not on the scan for the Twinleaf town arc.

Yonowaru was being completely sarcastic when he made that post. And you do realize that the others who mentioned her were already kidding around when they said it? They know full well she won't be there.

I opt for an Empoleon vs. Blaziken battle next episode.

Still waiting for confirmation on that James/impersonation question.

And what are the odds that Jesse and Meowth would be doing something new while James is impersonating? Or will they do the same as in the previous effort, whatever that was?

Hooray, a filler. "Will The Real Oak Please Stand Up" v2. I don't think the Politoed is Misty's. I doubt they'd make her glorious return (if she even gets one) into a battle with Brock and Croagunk. That's just stupid.
