Has anyone beaten colosseum mode on XD or the original colosseum version?

I got back into pokemon a month or two ago and started trainin my favorite pokemon from scratch (since my main games had been stolen years ago.). Back then, I actually thought there was nothin wrong with ubers and legends, but now I haven't even bothered catchin any of them. (excludin the 3 dogs from the Colosseum story. Still don't use 'em.)

Anyway, when I had trained up about 12 pokes to L100, I went into the Tower colosseum. I was NOT expectin them to play competitive and got owned by a stallin umbreon. That's when I realized that damn! This is actually challengin without usin legends. I somehow beat the singles cup, (defeatin both trainers that had kyogre and groudon without stoppin their weather changes or havin cloud 9) but got destroyed in doubles. Then it took about 4 or 5 days to hatch several eggs and train up 6 more pokemon for the L50 matches. (Since there's no way to speed up hatchin or gettin the right nature in Leaf green) I pwn3d every single L50 colosseum, single and double, includin the Orre one you unlock.

I guess what I'm tryin to say is, I never realized just how tough and fun they made the AI in this game. (despite the fact that they don't predict obvious switches... at least not yet.) I didn't know "very hard" actually meant very hard. lol. I haven't seen any topics on anyone competin in battle mode either. Then again, everyone's moved on to the 4th generation. I still need to train up my pokes and get a ds and the games.
