Could Dawn NOT make it to the Grand Festival?
I mean, she's lost so many contests I personally wouldn't feel she would deserve to be eligible. Not being given the opportunity to participate could lead to some good character development and make her strive to do very well during the obligatory filler region contest arc. And personally, I don't think her Pokemon would even be ready for it. The whole "Fire-Ice" thing Mamoswine and Cyndaquil have going on is a good idea, but isn't it coming in too late? And there isn't any way Piplup can make impressions on the three Nurse Joys (because GOD FORBID a Nurse Joy isn't apart of the judges) with Whirlpool, and Pachy & Buney haven't been doing much of anything lately. Its all another reason why it was such a bad move letting Amby go, Amby was clearly Dawn's best and most popular Pokemon (ignoring the forced mascot status of Piplup).
If Dawn doesn't make it, though, this doesn't necessarily mean there won't be a Grand Festival arc - Would there be any reason Dawn wouldn't get invited by Nozomi? Kengo? Heck, even Nando, and if you want to stretch it, even Jessie!
So, any comments on this?

The controversy surrounding the evolution of the Black & White starters has proven to me the fandom of Pokemon is filled with hopeless nerds. I have never seen so much fighting, flaming, and outright certainty in favor against the authenticity. Why you kids are resorting to using things like Error Level Analyzing really shows you're taking this way too seriously. It's bloody Pokemon people! There are more important things in life than video games. School is in session, and in this economy and schooling system, you should be concentrating on your grades.
